if you write to the ECHOLIGHT company, they will send you information. The currrent list I know of is Illinois, NC, Florida, NJ, Texas & Pennsylvania. Tennessee is soon ( I read that in another forum). I am in Michigan and drove to Windsor.
Thank you for the info do you by any chance have a phone number for Illinois or Penn? I just tried requesting info from the New York headquarters and of course an error showed up when I tried to send. Echolight is one of the most difficult things to get information for …..?

Can you please give me the name of the facility you went to in Windsor? I just booked flights to Chicago and Windsor is much more convenient.!
The company is osteosound.ca
They do popup clinics throughout Windsor and have a home base in Georgetown Ontario. I don’t know if you can go there to get a REMS randomly.
If you google the company, I reached out to them on their contact page or DM on IG if you participate there.
Hi, Susan, I'm sorry it's difficult to find info on the Echo Light REMS scan. By the way, I asked my Medicare Advantage insurance company, Scan Health Insurance, if they'd consider covering the REMS test. They haven't gotten back to me about my request yet but at least I asked. If insurance companies started covering the REMS test, more clinics might buy one of the REMS machines.
The only reason the DEXA test is covered by most insurance companies is because since its introduction it has been viewed as the test that's the gold standard because it was "the only game in town," so to speak.

I'm not sure where you are located in the U.S., but I just had a REMS Echolight scan done in Calgary Alberta, Canada. The technician said he sees people from the U.S. sometimes as it costs less for them than flying to a location in the U.S., then waiting for doctor's referral, flying back again etc. The cost at Wosler Diagnostic Lab in Calgary is $150.00 CA. I booked an appointment within 4 days and received the results immediately on the spot. I flew from Vancouver BC for $200.00 return. Dr. Doug Lucas has an excellent video on Echolight scans vs DEXA scans.

Why aren’t any of them in Western NY?
For that matter, why are any of them in any part of California? That's quite a short list. I thought Echolight was more widespread than this.
