I'm 63 eorjed all my life then 5 years ago told I had polymyalgia in 2022 told I never had polymyalgia but did have Pernicious Anemia which made sense then suddenly in 2023 after coming off Prednisone I gad a number of falls and very bad fatugye and aching Lastly in Feb 24 aches have turned to pain now iv been told positive for myositis waiting to find which one with a biopsy but the depression and pain is getting me down and the knowing it won't be long before I give up work worried as I cannot afford to retire so stressed with each day as I'm getting worse and tripping more frequent cannot dress myself without help or get out if bed by myself what's nexg fir me I ask.....

I'm sorry it's taken you so long to reach a correct diagnosis, it's no wonder your struggling.

I'm afraid not many use the web based Myositis group, many moved over to facebook. Several years ago I set up a UK only group that now has over 3000 members & is very active.
