Still on hold for stem cell transplant
David has now completed 3 cycles of
Vidaza
. He had a bone marrow biopsy several weeks ago. At first we thought the results were good, that his cancer cells had been reduced sufficiently to proceed with transplant.

Update
My husband David is receiving chemotherapy (
Vidaza
) to improve his blood counts. His MDS is a serious stage, described to us as "refractory anemia with excess blasts 1." His blood counts are all extremely low with an ominous increase in "monocytes."

T-PLL or AITL - looking for treatment advice please
Just started
Vidaza
(azacitidin) given 5 x weekly as injection under the skin followed by 3 weeks off: no effect as such yet but guess its also early days. However, I am wondering if anyone with T-PLL has some advice to share as the T-PLL is so rare? I read about venetoclax with great interest.
