Cooling cap for reduced hair loss
The hospital my dad will receive treatment (Docetaxel and
Ramucirumab
) at for stage IV NSCLC does not have cooling caps available. Is there an option to bring and set up your own system each time? Any advice is much appreciated. Thanks!

Call it stable or call it NED...whatever, I’ll take it!
Last April, after progression on Carbo/Alimta and Alimta maintenance, I started Docetaxel (Taxotere) and
Ramucirumab
(Cyramza) as second line and I’ve been stable since last August.

Update "next plan"
Now the new plan is docetaxel and
ramucirumab
this will now be a 4 hour infusion. This will now be harder than carboplatin and alimta. Really scared...... they say I will lose my hair just when it finally came back. Plus a host of other side effects.

Docetaxel and Ramucirumab
Happy New year! Well I just left my oncologist and he is switching my chemo because the carboplatin and Gemzar arent working. Has anyone had any experience with these two drugs we are switching to? I understand I will lose my hair this time.
