Drops affecting eyelashes
Now the only drops I take are
Dorzolamide
timolol
in the left eye, twice a day.I switched to the preservative free drops a few months ago but I think it's negatively affecting my lashes? Right eye with no drops, the lashes are normal but the left eye, the lashes seem to be getting shorter!

dorzolamide single dose units
I posted here a few weeks ago about being made to switch from small bottles of Dorzolomide to single dose units. (Both are preservative-free.) I have now moved over to these and have to say the plastic units are so badly made as to be barely usable. Once I finally get into the foil pack (I have to

Time between drops
I was diagnosed with glaucoma in April and am trying to get to grips with things - so apologies if this is a stupid question! I have just had my eye drops changed to Brinzolamide (twice a day) and Travoprost (once at night). Previously I was using Latanaprost only at night and Timolol only in the morning

Newly diagnosed with secondary open angle glaucoma - experiencing dizziness
Hi. I was recently diagnosed with secondary open angle glaucoma in my right eye. I was prescribed Latanoprost (1 drop in both eyes at night) and Timolol (1 drop in right eye in the morning). I started taking these on 7 May. Initially I didn’t appear to have any side effects from the drops but for

SLT is an option?
Hi all, I have been diagnosed 'Ocular Hypertension' (27/23). I have started Latanoprost but quickly started quite bad reaction ( shortness of breath, palpitation, tight throat etc), ended up calling ambulance par instruction from GP practice. I had tried "Timolol" before Latanoprost and experienced

Glaucoma Eye Drops and Heart Disease.
As a 75 yr old with heart disease, ( triple bypass 10yrs ago ) I’ve been diagnosed with the onset of glaucoma. I’ve been prescribed two eye drop medications. Travoprost, and Brinzolamide/Timolol Mylan. The side effects fact sheet is a pretty scary read etc, with particular emphasis on the heart. I

Lowering eye pressure
Pre trabeculectomy I was on lantoprost for 3 months and it didn’t really lower my eye pressure and for the other eye I was on it for 6 months pre surgery. Tried fixapost and Timolol briefly before surgery and i don’t think it worked. My eye pressures have gone up and the consultant has put me on monopost

heartburn on Timolol drops?
I have narrow angles, pressure 15 and had Iridotomy a few weeks ago, I was given steroid drops after and on my follow up I now have high pressure 30 which I didn't have before so consultant thinks its the steroid drops. I've finished them now and she has prescribed Timolol drops for a short time to reduce

Dorzolomide/timolol switched from drop a bottle to single unit doses
In my repeat prescriptions, I have been switched from the 5ML dropper bottle to single unit doses. I wasn’t contacted by my GP first so I have no idea why, but because they’re single unit doses and I have to use it morning and night, effectively I have only been provided with half what I usually get

latanoprost vs timolol
My 85 year old mother has been on latanoprost for 2 months. She developed a condition where her left eye now looks inwards towards her nose. It may be palsy of the sixth nerve. Has anyone else ever had similar symptoms? Also, is anyone having good results using timolol instead? Thank you for sharing

red inflamed area around my eye
hi there, I use Latanoprost and Dorzolamide eye drops following a closed angle glaucoma last year. Recently the area around my eye has become very red and inflamed and itchy. Has this happened to anyone else? My doctor gave me steroid cream which has helped a bit. Thanks

Dorzolamide drops
I have been on monopost drops for a couple of years with no problems. Last week at my glaucoma check up appointment, the consultant gave me dorzolamide drops to use morning and evening and to also continue with monopost drops. She would like my pressures to reduce, currently 12/14. The dorzolamide

Par Plana Vitrectomy Operation.
It’s stable now with
Dorzolamide

Timolol
eyedrops and I visit the Eye Clinic regularly. They are wonderful. On my last visit I was told that I would be eligible for a par plana vitrectomy which would correct the partially dislocated IOL that was implemented for cataract removal in 2017.

Dorzolamide (Eyedelto) runs out too quickly
I’m taking Eyedelto (preservative-free Dorzolamide) drops twice a day. The bottle says that when it’s time to discard the bottle 28 days after opening, there’ll still be some left in it. I’m fact, I find I get through a whole bottle in about 2 weeks. Has anyone else had this problem? It is an *incredibly

Longtime glaucoma patient
Hi. I just wanted to say that my experience with Glaucoma has been over many, many years. I’ve been very fortunate to have had treatment, isoptocarpine which was horrible. I have Myopia and these drops made it almost impossible to see for any length of time. They were to reduce the eye pressure quickly

Glaucoma and hayfever nasal spray
Excellent forum, thanks; I can't understand why I haven't found it previously. I have glaucoma in one eye, IOP in both eyes was previously managed by bimatoprost / timolol eye drops. My IOP followed the familiar path of slowly increasing over the years, commenced treatment with bimatoprost / timolol
