winter/cold affecting psoriasis
I also use a fair amount of creams regularly including
betnovate
for my scalp psoriasis and double base gel as a good moisturiser, along with a long list of other creams such as hydrocortisone cream and enstilar.

Morphea treatment - PUVA or triamcinolone injections?
I have been prescribed
Betnovate
, a steroid cream. I can’t say I have noticed much of a different - it hasn’t really improved but it hasn’t got any worse either. They have offered triamcinolone injections or PUVA light therapy to try and loosen the skin around my wrist.

Do I need to go back on Thyroxine?
I was prescribed
Betnovate
cream which I have to say has done a good job of clearing up a lot of the rash (it did end up spreading to wrist, elbows & behind knee creases, right down the front of both shins and at the base of my neck. Well the outcome is I still have numb feet.

Eczema & Glaucoma
I know that antihistamines are linked to high eye pressure & my glaucoma consultant has already told me that you can ‘reach the point of no return’ even with topical steroids so I’m reluctant to continue with
Betnovate
especially as I’ve already been using it for over six weeks.

itchy red, warm scalp. Also psoriatic or rheumatoid if you are sero-negative?
This last month I've had constant itching off my scalp - the crown area red and warm - GP gave me
Betnovate
and I was taking Piriton. Twice I've been to the hairdresser's but it still red and warm so haven't had my colour done and now very grey !!

Not that serious in the scheme of things !
But they have prescribed Daktacort ( for possible angular cheilitis) , Aciclovir in both cream and tablet form,
Betnovate
and most recently Fluticasone ( for the last 6 weeks). None of these treatments have had any positive effect.

Covid long term effect taking prednisolone
Tried

betnovate
. And then trimovate.

10 weeks post circumcision. Still struggling with uncomfortable hypersensitive glans. HELP.
He had some
betnovate
prescribed to help 2 weeks ago but he seems to be at a standstill. Please can someone tell me it gets better? And how? we've never had sex because he knew he had awful pain- we thought this would be the fix.

Unexplained irritation with nothing to show.
I have tried using Epiderm cream and then small amounts of
Betnovate
but they aren't making any difference. Do any of you have any idea what can be causing it?

Sores in nose - chemotherapy
Apart from a runny nose with chemotherapy (Carboplatin/Pemetrexed) I'm also getting sores that are very similar to cold sores - tried
betnovate
cream, but not much good, then tried Zovirax which is better, but doesn't clear them and still forms scabs that bleed. It can be very sore and painful.

Steroid Skin?
I have been putting doctor prescribed
Betnovate
on, but a) it’s not helping and b) if caused by steroids it seems a bit counterproductive to put more steroid cream on. Does anyone else have this problem and if so what do you use to help alleviate the problem please?

Hi All - itch under control with two tubes of
Betnovate
and antihistamine at night from G P - onto over the counter antihistamine soon and using Aveenocream at the moment - is it a PMR thing? Seems to coincide with dry eyes (using drops) - may be gall stone thing?

Itchy Scalp for months - slightly hair thinning but no visible scalp issues.
I went to see a General Practioner a week or so later and I was told I had dermatitis and was told to use a Nizoral Shampoo and a
Betnovate
Scalp Applicator to help relieve the issue. I used them for a month and they had not helped at all.
