but quite honestly can't take it as I have 2 young children and it just worsens the symptoms but she insists I take it in the afternoon of which I have done but can hardly

His reason for trialling

HAPPY, PAIN-FREE 2017, Everyone
The
amitriptyline
works, not right round the clock, (I take 25mg at night) but I am getting better sleep; waking up feeling like Ive been on an all-night bender, but it passes as the morning progresses; still getting pain during the day, but have spent the last 2 weeks gradually knocking the Tramadol

Hot Flashes
I am also taking 10mg
Amitriptyline
to help me sleep. My major problem is the hot sweats that creep up suddenly and the wonderful "moon face" that lights up like a beacon. Bad enough feeling ugly without it being highlighted.

Amitriptyline (Tricyclic) Weight Gain! I need an alternative...
I'm currently on
Amitriptyline
(Tricyclic) and ridiculous weight and holding fluid...an example is in 3 days I've gained 2.5 kg. This had been happening since March when i started on it and I've gained about 15kg and probably 20 since symptoms started with FND. I'm not happy.

Amitriptyline
Hi All, I was just wondering if anyone had been prescribed
Amitriptyline
for their fibromyalgia? I had to go to the doctors today as my pain has been really bad and I have been coping with just painkillers.
