I am so cold all the time, does my thyroxine need adjusting? At last my test results, looks like all is well?

Forteo
Hi. I have severe osteoporosis too. Have been on Forteo for the last four months . Can’t say there are no side effects as it seems to effect people differently . So I won’t go in to what bothered me. Important thing is exercise as I found that when I sat around not doing anything I woul feel much worse

Does anyone have an experience with Forteo?
I'm new here and new to severe osteoporosis, no fractures, on Fosamax but endocrinologist suggests Forteo. 65 years old, female, feel great, handling Fosamax well. I'm reluctant to change due to costs, side effects, etc. Any experiences with Forteo or Tymlos? Thanks!

Supplements for endometriosis, detoxification and immune health
Hi ladies, I thought I’d post as I’ve been experiencing some positive change lately and wanted to share what I’ve been doing in the hope that it could bring relief to more people. I’ve read lots on supplements and alternative medicine and from reading about Ayurveda I kind of came across very good supplements

Difficulty clearing lungs
I read all the time about bronchiectasis sufferers having to clear their lungs daily but I find this so very difficult. I have been given certain aids and tried most things but still I cannot cough up much and only at certain times of the day - after extra activity which gives me a chesty cough -

What are the things people experience when recovering from pneumonia and anxiety at the same time?
I've finished my antibiotics but I still feel chest pain and shortness of breath. What can I do?

Looking for people who have phased out Carbidopa/Levodopa in favor of an all-mucuna program
I was diagnosed in 2006, and have progressed through Requip, Sinemet, and Rytary, recently exploring mucuna in place of Rytary. My maximum dosage of Rytary was four capsules of 3.75/95 four times a day; I have gradually reduced my Rytary amount to three capsules in the morning, followed by 350 milligrams

Learning about Asthma through Covid-19
Hello, I can honestly say, that I have learnt more about my asthma in the 3 or so months since the pandemic started than anyone ever told me about it in the 20 years prior. When suddenly I was classed as "vulnerable" I did some searching to find out why. Turns out I really didn't (don't?) understand

Coronavirus: asymptomatic people can still develop lung damage.
Modern medicine rightly emphasises the importance of science. The focus, however, too often displaces our attention from the real point of healthcare – to care. This is nicely captured by William Osler’s (1849-1919) admonition to attend to the patient rather than their disease – a sentiment treated as

Coughing while on ventilator
My husband continues to be on ventilator and is not waking up. We are on Day 10 . There have been no changes. He shows no motion and does not move when touched. The pneumonia seems to have cleared. Today the nurse mentioned that he has been coughing a lot. Is coughing a good sign ? could that mean an

Tonsillitis & Decapeptyl injection
Evening all. I keep getting tonsillitis or sore throat & wondering if it’s to do with hormone injections or endo? I eat pretty healthy foods low sugar no dairy, wheat or red meat. I take extra vitamins so really don’t understand why I keep getting this. Anyone with similar experience or advice?
