This is exactly what I needed, somewhere to journal my thoughts, my progress and my bad days. I have yo yo'd with weight loss all my life but never reached my target of 65kg. I am currently 80kg, the heaviest I have ever been. I am also 6 months postpartum so you may say be easy to yourself, but no. I am realising I cannot keep up with my children, I struggle with stress and comfort eating and portion control. I am the meal planner, grocery getter and food enabler for my family so I need to make a better change for all concerned.
So here I am. Starting today. No more excuses! Starting at 80.3kg. Help me get to my first baby target of 75kg. Send your love and motivation. Any questions (if you are interested in my life at all).
Thank you for reading <3 Good luck to you all

Hello and very warm welcome, hopefully you will be able to benefit from this supportive forum like so many of us here had.
If you click around, you will see that most of the activity happens on various threads, all of which you can find in our Pinned Posts: healthunlocked.com/weight-l...
The good place to head to would be our Weigh In - healthunlocked.com/weight-l... where you can click 'Reply' to the host and will be joining with the others.
Also worth checking out would be our Daily Diary healthunlocked.com/weight-l... - good place to share your plans and see how others are planning their meals.
Thank you so much for you reply and guidance, this is invaluable support. I will definitely explore around the links you shared, and hope we can connect more in the future <3
Hiya. I read this research and it explained that 'motivation' follows action! That finally explained lots to me. Starting the diet and seeing the numbers go down, or feeling the jeans getting loser, is what creates the motivation to get beyond that first painful week and keep going 😁 All the very best.
Welcome 🤗 and you absolutely have the right attitude for this to work, don’t be overwhelmed by what is ahead, take each day as it comes and forgive yourself quickly for any lapses (there will be some unfortunately). However remember in two weeks you will feel the difference, in four weeks you will see the difference and in six weeks you will hear the difference.
I’ve only just come this forum today and so glad I did so as a newbie myself I want to wish you well on your journey and hope that we can support each other to get to our goal x
