Hi everyone, just a bit of background info: These are my NHS test results from Nov 2023: t4 13.8 (7-17) tsh 0.10 (0.20 - 4.50) although the TSH came back slightly under range at that time, thankfully the GP said “no action” so I have carried on with 75mcg (have been having my usual brands - no

TTG ABS test results
My anti tissue transglutaminase test came back as <1.9cu. And IgA as 1.4g/L. As usual my surgery have put normal within range. Does anyone have any thoughts on these levels? I have done another B12 blood test online, not through my surgery, and it has come back borderline low.

No more B12 injections at local surgeries
Grampian Health Board has now decreed that B12 injections will now be given at the Vaccination centre in Inverurie on a Tuesday. This is 15 miles away with no direct bus. I arrived on Tuesday to be told that 1. I should have had a repeat prescription for the vials and collected them from the pharmacy

Help boosting thyroid without medication?
Hello all I have posted before as my thyroid function is poor but always comes back in range (my TSH never rises even with low levels) so no chance of medication on the NHS (other than statins for high cholesterol which I refuse). I did some recent tests TSH 1.95 (0.27-4.2) T4 14.6 (12-22) T3

asthmatic response to new rug made in India
I bought a new, woollen rug shortly before Christmas 2023. It immediately caused me to go from being virtually free of asthma symptoms to being in need of steroid inhaler and frequent ventolin doses - I was very short of breath, my lungs were irritated and when exercising, swimming or walking, I’d

Thoughts please!
I am still struggling terribly to tolerate any doseage of levo or lio - combo or mono. It makes me feel even worse/is completely debilitating. I have tried changing when I take the doses, the brand etc you name it and still no better. It’s notable that my blood pressure gets too low on it too. Am I

Natto can prevent cavities!
I discovered that natto is high in K2 which is lacking in vegans and which the lack of can cause frequent cavities. Natto is high in K2 besides the other possible help with reversing the symptoms of Parkinson's as I posted recently. Here is the link I came across today. You have to check it out. [

recommended B vitamins
I have been taking Lamberts Methyl B complex for a long time but would like to try another multi B vitamin that is often recommended on this forum. Of course I can’t find it now so would be grateful if someone could remind me. I seem to remember there was one that was a large tablet (not good for me

Hypothesis XIIII
That a higher or lower concentration of B12 might be more bioavailable and therefore more effective and appropriate for treatment. —------------------------------------------------------------ The level of competence of those studying B12 is not sufficient enough to test this hypothesis or even consider

hypo/hashis pregnancy bloods and vitimins
hi there, Has anyone had experience of requesting monthly bloods from the GP when hypo and hashi and b pregnant? I am asking for monthly bloods for: iron studies, folate, vit D, B12, TPo and TGa antibodies. They are being very difficult around giving me all of these so my private endo got involved

I have PA, all was going well, but now they're trying to mess with my b12 perscipton!!!
Hi all,I'm a long time lurker, but haven't posted myself in a while. About 8 years ago, I was fighting to save my right leg due to bone tumors. 12 surgeries later, I lost that fight. During that time, I started losing weight, tons of anxiety, palpitations ect...This would all be normal reaction to this

Started new thyroid medication Mon 😡
Sorry everyone but this is going to be a rant.... As many members will know I stopped taking my thyroid medication on January 31st because the incompetent endo put me back on teva, which I certainly don't get on with (gastric side effects amongst other side effects) Through my surgeon in Liverpool for

Hello everyone. I'm waiting for NHS appt with endo which is 20th May. I don't know how much longer I can stay in work feeling like i do atm. I'm exhausted all the time. I cant afford private treatment for B12. I already pay private consultants for menopause care so I just can't add on anymore.
