Vitamin D Deficiency
4 years ago my husband was admitted urgently to A&E following a limb fracture and was subsequently diagnosed with decompensated cirrhosis. Thanks to the dedication of his hospital team he made a marvellous recovery and is now compensated and leading a normal life with no varices, ascites or other complications

Vitamin D and AF
Deficiency
Risks:
Vitamin
D
deficiency
has been linked to an increased risk of AF. A meta-analysis revealed that low vitamin D levels (less than 20 ng/mL) slightly increase the risk of AF. Conversely, each 10 ng/mL increase in serum vitamin D was associated with a 5% decrease in AF risk.

Psoriasis, Vitamin D and Shea Butter
I didn't put the two and two together at the time, but I was diagnosed with severe
vitamin
D
deficiency
about a year before the first rash/sign of psoriasis. At the time, I was also going through heavy grief that would have caused some damage to my nervous system and health in general.

Vitamin and mineral deficiencies/Thyroid dysfunction.. Chicken or Egg?
Before I spend my hard earned money on going to a private ENDO because the NHS is failing me I wanted to ask what you all thought about the problem of iron
deficiency
and
vitamin
D
deficiency
and how this relates to underactive thyroid .

Some advice before a battle with GP!
Also osteoporosis, chronic
vitamin
D
deficiency
, depression, fatigue, etc. And I have been diagnosed with fibromyalgia which I suspect is potentially hypothyroid disease in disguise. All advice will be very gratefully accepted D x
