Help with test results
I am feeling a bit better, not so spaced out, no depression or dizziness. I stopped HRT in July. However, I do still get tired, have weight problems, have a swollen scalloped tongue, high cholesterol, goitre, tinnitus, joint stiffness. I am on 100mg Levothyroxine. I take B complex, B1, selenium

OK bloods...Still plateauing??
Hi again 👋About 7 weeks ago I increased my levo from 50mcg to 75mcg after discussing here. Initially, revved up again. Happy days- more energy, lost a small bit of weight, mood improved etc. I have started slipping back again and thought I'd get my bloods done again before I do anymore 'tinkering'.

Hypo Dr lowered dose!
Test
done as advised on here. No T4 or
T3
was done. No discussion about symptoms . In fact it was done without any discussion. I’ve had to wait a month to have an appointment with my Dr. Was not able to speak to anyone at the practice who was medically trained. Still have many symptoms of hypo.

Can emotional distress cause problems?
I added T3 to my Levo a few months ago and all seemed to be going well. How ever on two occasions since then I’ve received some bad news about sudden deaths of people I know ( one a very close aunt). Now I know I have PTSD so that is an added issue , but I feel like I’ve been hit by a bus! I mean I feel

T3 dosage going wrong?
Hi everyone, I have no idea what to do now. Endo started me on 10mcg of T3 (capsule) and lowered my 100mcg of T4 by 50%. From 100mcg to 50mcg. Felt slightly better the first 3 weeks, skin is more normal looking rather than dry. Fatigue still bad. Tummy pains went when I ate and gallbladder pain

Is it possible to get rid of excess iodine in my body?
hi all this might seem like a silly question but i going to ask it anyway. IS THERE SUCH A THING AS AN ANTIDOTE TO REMOVE EXCESS IODINE FROM THE BODY THAT IS STORED IN MY CELLS? The excess iodine is playing havoc with thyroid numbers. I have no thyroid and resent numbers were: TSH 11.9 FT4 12.0

GP vs. Endocrinologist
I am under the care/supervision of an endocrinologist. I was diagnosed with underactive thyroid over 20 years ago. My GP is aware and agreed that my endocrinologist takes blood samples and “tweaks” my dose of medicines accordingly. My blood test results from the Endocrinologist on 11 July 2023
