Does this seem right?
Yesterday I received an official diagnosis of: Hypothyroid secondary to Hashimotos and have been prescribed
Synthroid
25mcg. Does this seem right and good to start medication?

DANGER?
I stopped taking
synthroid
6 months ago after 21 years of filling prescriptions since being treated with radioactive iodine. My decision for cessation is based on my personal health goals from year 55 (b. 1961) onward to the end.

Labs opinion
I'm doubtful that this new regimen of
Synthroid
88 mcg and Cytomel 5 mcg is going to bring my labs up enough for me to feel better. And, I doubt she is going to prescribe any increases in the Cytomel and maybe not even the
Synthroid
due to the low TSH.

Doc ordered recheck of TPO and a script for
Synthroid
25 mcg. Have also gone off gluten and dairy. She gave me a diagnosis of hypothyroid secondary to Hashimotos. This all sound correct and a good course of action?

Weakness, meds or the disease?
I currently am on 50/75 alternating days of brand
synthroid
and cytomel (finally taking whole 5 mg of the T3 now) and if you know about this, is there a way to get your strength back or is this it for me? I feel as though i am still under medicated. Thanks in advance.

Max. dose of thyroid, Free T4 still too low
We tried the min. dosage of
Synthroid
and equivalent but the side effects were severe anxiety and strange muscle twitching in my facial muscles even taking the lowest dose of 25 mg at once per week intervals. Endo tests showed no thyroid antibodies. Your thoughts?

Hypo HASHIMOTOS
I was diagnosed with Hashimotos & prescribed
Synthroid
. I have recently lost my 14 yr old son in a tragic accident. I've had many issues with my health & every doctor would tell me blood work was fine.

T4 & T3 potency comparison
I seen a chart once that said under synthetics which is me,
Synthroid
brand and Cytomel generic 25 MCG of cytomel was equal to 100 of
Synthroid
, but no comparison for the 5 of cytomel i was prescribed. And then you have to factor in the % of T3 you get that is coming from the
synthroid
correct?

Erfa Thyroid obtained online without prescription
They all insist on the traditional, and useless, route of prescribing
Synthroid
, Levothyroxine, etc. Can someone please direct me to a reliable, safe source for Erfa that I can obtain online? Thank you very much for any help and support you can provide.

T3 and blood pressure
So 5 days ago I started Cytomel, well generic, Dr started me on 5mcg but seeing it was generic and i did not do well on generic of
synthroid
i was cautious. She prescribed 5 mcg once daily but to drop my newly upped 50/75 alternating dose of
synthroid
down to 50 a day.

Is it too soon to increase dose?
Been on 25 mcg
synthroid
for 3 weeks. TSH is 3.09 and free T4 is 14 (range 9-19). TSH has come down from 3.96 in July and T4 has gone down to 14 from 16, range posted above. I feel horrible.
