Any positive or Negative review of Provenge?
I am collecting all feedback on
Provenge
treatment. My MO did not talk further and did not believe in it, so I am now collecting feedback and learning more about it. I am searching for someone who had
Provenge
therapy in the past or is planning in the future and is recently taking the treatment.

price of Provenge?
Provenge
isn't covered in Canada. It's been more than a decade since it was approved in the US as monotherapy in the US. Has the price come down?

PSA to have stabilized after skyrocketing. What does this mean?
With PSA rising very rapidly four months ago after finishing Eclipse Trial, I had SBRT done immediately followed by
Provenge
. PSA on the day of SBRT was 2.0. It’s my understanding that
Provenge
will not affect PSA testing so it’s hard to determine progress.

B.A.T and Provenge trial.
And
Provenge
. This is the first time I’ve heard of such a combo. There are only 6 of us in this trial. Is there anyone else on this trial or have any experience with using both treatments?

Am I a candidate for
Provenge
(among other things)? Can it be combined with AA, Radium 223 (I have no pain)? Thanks.

Side effects from Xtandi monotherapy?
after failing multiple times on regular ADT plus SBRT and finally failing LU– 177 and
Provenge
, my PSA went on the rise again. I’ve been on mono Xtando for six weeks and not feeling well despite trying to exercise heavily. Going in for bloodwork tomorrow. What kind of labs should I ask for?

Provenge (only) - impact on overall survival
I just got insurance approval for
Provenge
...out of pocket is really high so now I'm doing a cost benefit analysis in my mind. I've seen many different articles showing that
Provenge
ALONE only extends overall survival by 4-15 months. Does that sound correct?

Questions After SBRT Treatment
My choice is
PROVENGE
. It also looks tricky to convince MO.

Provenge Complete
Well folks, I completed
Provenge
with no issues or SE’s to note. I understand my PSA will not be lowered by this treatment and it has gone way up, from 24 first of October to 58 last week. I am still waiting to hear from Sarah Cannon Research to review possible clinical trials.

Finally Something’s Working
Zytiga,
Provenge
, 8 rounds of Docetaxel and, now, Pluvicto. As is standard, after my third round of Pluvicto I had a PSMA PET scan. Finally, something seems to be working. I have numerous mets to my bones and lymph nodes.

Chemo Side Effects
On lupron since 2011, recurrance, SPLASH TRIAL,
Provenge
NOv 2023. Strarted on Taxatere (doxcetel) in March. My MO put me on an 18 infusion schedule (I believe 1/2 normal dose) because of my age, 84. I get infused ever week for 3 weeks, then 1 week off and continue for 28 infusions.

2018 still kicking
I also received
Provenge
infusions back in 2019 so far, so good. Side effects from these treatments are many over the years, but all in all pretty tolerable for those of you who are on hormone treatments. You know them all too well . Never give up. Never surrender, Leo ♌️

PSA doubled in last 30 days after 4 months stable since Provenge. What's next?
Update: PSA remained roughly 1.7 to 1.8 for last 4 months after
Provenge
but yesterday's 30-day PSA test revealed a jump to 3.190 so something is growing quick. I have been off of all ADT since finishing fourth LU-177 injection five months ago and one SBRT treatment 4 months ago.

Provenge criteria necessary for acceptance.
Apparently Medicare will pay for
Provenge
provided we are castrate resistant and metastatic. But are there other requirements like certain PSA parameters and lower testosterone levels? Do we have to remain on ADT while being treated with

Testosterone was slowly recovering after stopping all meds 8/10/2023 then started dropping!
It looked like
Provenge
and SBRT last October had lowered and stabilized my rapidly rising PSA to around 1.8 for three months. Then three weeks ago it mysteriously doubled in a month to 3.1 A new PSMA scan showed four new scattered bone mets appearing since last PSMA scan 3 months prior.

Triplet Therapy
I am now doing
Provenge
but I expect Docxatel in the near future. If I did triplet therapy ADT/DOCXATEL/ENZALUTAMIDE is it possible the ENZALUTAMIDE could be effective even though the Daralutamide was not?
