Finished
Pluvicto
in spring 23. Started out fine but went sideways. By mid May, psa and alk were on rise. MO suggested going to Xofigo but hemoglobin numbers were too low, sub 7, got transfusion. Decided to rechallenge with taxotere.

PSA still low but cancer progressing
I asked about other potentially useful treatments such as
Pluvicto
or immunotherapy drugs but he said they were not recommended as the next step. I think he's just following the NHS script for treatment progression.

House legislation aims to close a regulatory loophole to improve patient safety of nuclear medicine diagnostic tests in oncology&cardiology
[i]News to me, but something to think about the next time you go for a PET/CT scan or
Pluvicto
treatment. An issue that is definitely one our patient community should be aware of and legislation we should all support.

I’m perplexed about Pluvicto
After one dose of
Pluvicto
, Joe’s PSA rose, and Mets are unchanged. His second dose is August 4. I asked his onc what good looks like: how will we know if P is working? When? No good answer……he’ll rescan after 3rd dose….. His QOL is lousy, from what I see, anyway.

Update on carbolatin-etoposide
We will then see if
Pluvicto
may be an option for him also. Good luck and best wishes to everyone. N.

Treatment options
We were hoping to get
Pluvicto
but since he is so weak that isn’t an option. I’m so upset with his oncologist and wish I had gotten an outside opinion earlier. During this time his PSA went up to 48 and now after the Lupron it is at 22.

Lepto meningeal involvement. No further treatment. Palliative radiation?
Spouse 10 weeks post
Pluvicto
and about to embark on a Hail Mary trial of androgen receptor degrader. But yesterday's brain MRI showed spread to dura and leptomeninges. So my lovely light and love of my life is coming to the end of the road we have walked, too briefly, together.

I am also very interested in
Pluvicto
treatments as yet another option of treatment. I've recently read through 123 clinical trials in regards to his specific prostate cancer so I'm willing to research any treatments/experiences. I appreciate any thoughts. 😊

being redundant
Just had my blood work done in preparation of starting
Pluvicto
and not being able to choose wisely while driving I picked this podcast which i have heard before and have even advocated on this forum before. Dr Chetty is so brilliant and out of the box thinking that I felt I need to share it again.

Cabazitaxel, can you return for a second round.
I was only on this chemo, Cabazitaxel, for three infusions, then was approved for
Pluvicto
. PSA was creeping up slowly during that time, from 63-141. Has anyone gone back to it and had success with 8-10 infusions?

WHY ???????????
Like i have said,
Pluvicto
is the new method in fighting my long-time prostate cancer. I was diagnosed in 1999.

Q&A from this week's visit with our MO
Next would be docetaxel chemo (tho' we're looking at
Pluvicto
as well), probably starting in 3 months, or if the scan looks especially good, 6 months. Enjoying the rest of our summer as he continues to feel well. Visiting friends and family in the Bay Area next week. Grateful and praying...

Now in hospice
On return we had a visit with my husband’s oncologist and it was decided that his last option of
Pluvicto
was off the table. Due to a compression fracture of his T7, he’s partially paralyzed and requires constant care and help thus making isolation an impossibility.

And of course you all know the SOC to be done and then onto
Pluvicto
. He’s getting the fourth dose on 18 October. Ever since the second dose of
pluvicto
he’s has nauseous stomach, dry mouth and extreme edema.

If it doesn't make you feel bad, is it working?
Unless
Pluvicto
is approved for funding by Cancer Care Ontario, even if it's indicated, the cost will be prohibitive - still, we'd know if it might be worth using up his savings. The Question: In the meantime, he had a fourth docetaxel infusion on Thursday. Our concern? He feels great!

My husband's Pluvicto treatment update.
Hi everyone, my husband's PSA with 5th treatment dropped from 0.32 to 0.19. We can't be more than greatfull🙏 This time he did presented some symptoms, pain in shoulder, legs, and extremely tired. He had thank God the last treatment yesterday. We will se how it goes from here. I will continue updating

After Zofigo, what next?
Our RO expressed doubt about the availability of
Pluvicto
- he has patients that would like it but their clinic has been unable to get it. I would think a trial might have access - I bet some of you would know about that.

Starting pluvicto in another month
They stopped the chemo due to rising PSA so I qualify for the
pluvicto
now and qualify fir the PET scan in two weeks. I hope this works and get longer time being around so it will be worth it. I read where prebiotic will help but what about supplements to help with the side effects ?
