Persistent and Permanent Atrial Fibrillation
Approximately one month ago I introduced myself to this forum. I greatly appreciated the warm welcome and the helpful responses I received to my post. I've returned with hopes of receiving some feedback from any members who have persistent or permanent Afib. I believe I've done as much research as

Anyone having B12 injections + hypothyroid?
But I have
permanent
atrial
fibrillation
anyway so my heart rate is always a bit unusual. However, I can usually spot trends and so far this is looking like a trend.

Permanent AFib
Started on Digoxin .25 daily for past six days and cut Lopressor down to 25 twice a day. Am going to try to wean off. HR 80-110. Generally do not feel well and am going to revisit ablation. I had blurring of vision and dizziness on higher doses of Lopressor alone. Last cardioversion only lasted

Off pred
Well I've now finally come off prednisolone after 3.5 years and I found you very helpful and supportive. Unfortunately I've had to join the afib support group because just as I've finished with pred I've now had to start beta blockers and blood thinners. I think I'd rather be on Pred. One thing after

supplements for a fibs???
Has anyone here used magnesium or L arginine for atrial fibrillations? If yes, and you had good results, what were the dosages and how often daily? Thank you.

Newly diagnosed
I have just been diagnosed with paroxysmal afib after having to go to hospital with fast afib with a top heart rate of 190.I was in for 2 nights and sent home on bisoprolol and rivaroxaban and I was already on enalapril. I have noticed my pulse rate is now in the 50s , lowest being 50 or 51. Are these

Paroxyzmal SVT, Only when Eating
Going on 2.5 years since ablation for Afib and doing great, though a new arrhythmia has surfaced apparently. I get short runs of atrial tachycardia,...more than 3 consecutive PAC's, but fewer than 10 before reverting to Sinus Rhythm. Happens only while actively chewing/swallowing food. Swallowing

Update on Covid/AF
Hi all, Last week I reported that despite my daily dose of medication (60mg x 2 Diltiazem) I was consistently going in and out of AF due to COVID. I increased my Diltiazem by 60mg as (PIP) to try and eliminate/reduce the episodes. However, I found despite helping, this was exacerbating my AF - episodes

Update!
I was scheduled for a Pulse Field Ablation at the end of the month, but my Afib this week was going on for 36 hours so I was told to go to the ER. Fortunately, my doctor told me he would try to fit me in on Friday.....which he did. I am very relieved that it is over and I am home with very little

Dealing with an AFib episode without meds.
I was diagnosed with Paroxysmal AFib by an Energency Dept Consultant who ordered certain tests to be done in the future and sent me home with Anticoagulants. I wasn’t given any advice on how to manage an AFib episode or a follow up consultation just a letter to say my test results were OK.A year later

Could Afib rhythm on Kardia be misinterpreted
At the end of April I received my 14 day Zio report that showed very frequent rhythms of supraventricular ectopies and no AFib. Most heart rates averaged below 100. A few weeks later I used my Kardia on 1 lead which showed sinus rhythm with supraventricular ectopy at 64 BPM. 1 minute later I used

Enemas for constipation
I am taking flecainide and bisoprolol for my afib. The medication is doing fine but I’ve got what I believe to be Pelvic Floor dysfunction. Basically one of my rectum muscles (at exit) is contracting when it should be relaxing. I’ve got biofeedback physio on Monday but wanted to know if anyone has experience

Advice please re steroid dose following fall, facial lacerations, broken nose etc…
Hi all, yesterday I stupidly trotted across a road, my leg gave way and I ended up sliding across on my face, hitting my cheek/nose on the kerb. Been to A&E, all sorted apart from sore shoulder which is a little better today. The pain feels very specific in that I feel it only in certain positions or
