A poetry book about dealing with PSP
The author's husband was diagnosed with PSP-
Parkinsonism
two years ago, and as his care giver, she began to write poetry as a way to process and come to terms with this disease. Her poetry collection was eventually published and is available on Amazon. Her words resonate and comfort.

vascular Parkinsonism
I just learned of this condition which is similar but apparently district from PD. This condition apparently evolves more from small strokes and primarily impacts balance and gait and a weakling of the lower body. It also does not react to normal PD medication (ie. Sinemet, etc). Anyone familiar

Bladder problems..... the saga continues......
And lastly "I do not know whether a diagnosis of multisystem atrophy or
parkinsonism
will have an affect on bladder function". - sigh......... I feel like sending the consultant a leaflet on MSA. 🤦♀️

There’s not a whole lot about this online, but apparently in some cases it can cause
parkinsonism
. My father also had Parkinson’s so I’ve been pretty sure there’s a genetic component and this may be it. Unfortunately from what I’ve read online, there isn’t a whole lot I can do about it.

Corticobasal syndrome?
He had always told me that it was atypical
Parkinsonism
and only time would reveal how bad it was. He actually told me to enjoy my life (which I am!). So now it seems that I may have this other thing. I had secretly been worrying I’ve had loss of cognitive function over the last four months.

Hi my husband and got his official diagnosis last year but I say he had symptoms for nearly 2 years before. Life was at breaking point when we first went to the doctors in January 22. Karol looks so well you wouldn’t know he was ill looking at him. Does anyone else feel like I do angry that I am losing

‘Well your new DAT scan is showing activity that - based on our current understanding of
Parkinsonism
- shouldn’t be happening. It’s lighting up like a Christmas Tree’. I’ve paraphrased this as my e-book wouldn’t let me cut and paste. Interesting though isn’t it?

RIP Debbie
Debbie was initially diagnosed with Parkinson's /
Parkinsonism
this time 4 years ago, with diagnosis changing to MSA 2 years ago, although I strongly suspected MSA a year into initial Parkinson's diagnosis. We have a lot to be thankful for with how Debbie went in the end.
