Spasticity (again) , constipation (again), fatigue (always).
Did the
laxatives
free up my bowels and as a knock on effect free up my legs? Or did they all subside together, nothing to do with the
laxatives
? I'd have to say that they are all interconnected. The
laxatives
took the edge off my leg spasticity.

Need some help and advice !
I have had every imaginable medication (pain relief,
laxatives
, supposirtories, anti spasmonal, stool softeners) and no luck. I even tried a device that I did myself blew a balloon up inside my rectum ans filled it with water--still no relief what so ever.

I had constipation since 2011, it has been treated with
laxatives
but they took ages to work. I also take painkillers for aches and pains, also period cramps. And corticosteroids for recurring eczema. The reason I have come here today is, can hypothyroidism resolve so quickly within 2 months?

They can prescribe
laxatives
(which act in different ways according to the cause of the problem, so if one doesn't work do go back to try something else), stool softeners and anti-diarrhoea medication. They can also refer you to specialist dietitians for expert advice.

Husband fed up -- Update and questions
This would be the timeline: 1. mets in spinal area causing initial pain. 2. possible rib fracture (he fell near our driveway and right on his back) 3. radiation to this area causing inflammation. 4. not using enough
laxatives
to combat severe constipation caused by morphine use, which has now been doubled

Has anyone had a superior hypogastric block?
Codeine makes me really constipated even when I take
laxatives
and I’m not sure if it’s exacerbating my night time symptoms because the pain then feels like it’s related to my bowel. But when I don’t take it I’m in pain during the day.

Anyone else experience this
Well I have had problems going to the loo for a couple of days so obviously had to address the issue and take extra
laxatives
to get rid of what I felt was backed up - sorry if TMI.

Weird Crohn’s bowl movements
I’m thinking of asking my doctor for some light
laxatives
to see if they’ll help, I really hope it’s not a stricture. Has anyone been through something similar ? Please share your experiences 😄

My TSH is normal, does that mean my thyroid is fine?
I have very bad constipation, I simply can't go, and even when I just sit it out and wait up to 2 weeks for it to happen, I end up becoming impacted (my doctor gives me
laxatives
on the -impaction dose). I also have terribly dry skin, especially behind my ears, my arms and hairline.

Endometriosis pain relief advise wanted; prescriptive and non.
I sobbed the whole phone call, it was so horrendous, she prescribed me some codeine and then some stomach protection and
laxatives
go help with the effects. If symptoms are to worsen, I’ll have to attend A&E.

FED up with laxatives and trying older enema protocols that apparently are more effective.
Inspired by https://www.bedwettingandaccidents.com we learned this is the gold standard treatment that seems to have fallen out of fashion. Doc approved a mini MOP and we are trying it out.

I've really been giving serious thought to taking
laxatives
I had prescribed to me a while ago. I can't stand to look at myself, I cover everything up with long baggy clothes. At night I refuse to let my partner see me like this so I always sleep in big baggy pyjamas.

Meh
Laxatives
are having no effect whatsoever! It feels like my whole gut is shredded and inflamed, I’m in so much pain. I look 9 months pregnant and in severe pain. I’ve lost so much weight and I feel weak, I’ve been nauseous and vomiting bile for two weeks now, although I have a full stomach.
