Moving Forward with Neuropathy
I e had a
Laminectomy
in my low back but received no relief from that. The doctor thought that may help with the weak legs. I have no idea how to proceed or where to continue to look for help. Nerve conduction testing is pretty normal.

Before that I had a Lumber Spinal
Laminectomy
(which only worked for about 4 months). I’ve since also been diagnosed with Heart Failure so pain relief is very difficult. The Spinal Stenosis is now severe all down the Lumbar Region.

The RLS nightmare
On June 20th of this yr I received a dbl
laminectomy
on my l4 and l5 vertebra and the knife was removed. Now I am trying to get off the pain drug which is buprenorphine/Nalox. I am down to an 8th of my dose but cannot stop taking it because it is the only thing that shuts down the RLS.

Pain Relief
I’ve had a
Laminectomy
for Severe Spinal Stenosis which unfortunately failed and is now worse than before the Surgery! I also have Heart Failure so I’m very limited in the pain relief I can take. I’m under the Pain Management Clinic at my local hospital.

Tramadol versus Buprenorphine Patch.
I had a
Laminectomy
which failed (Triple Bypass and Mitral Valve Repair also) now diagnosed with Heart Failure so no “normal” painkillers. Pain Management have advised me to try Tramadol prior to possibly using Buprenorphine patches. Anybody have experience or advice of either. Which is best?

Buprenorphine Patches
For background: I had a Triple Bypass and Mitral Valve Repair following a
Laminectomy
for Severe Spinal. Unfortunately this didn’t work and the Pain Consultant has said there is no further treatment that he can offer.

Was on Arava for 18 months but been off for 1 year due to hospitalisation for infection, also had bad gastrointestinal probs when on so was looking at coming off beforehand. My Rheumy thinks my symptoms don't 'match' my path results recently (been on pred for years) I am in a lot of pain shoulders

b12 injections after spinal cord surgery
I had an appointment today with my neurologist, I’m three weeks post op for cervical spine
laminectomy
to decompress my spinal cord. We were discussing my progress and new neurological symptoms following the operation. Talking about my other conditions and the B12 protocol I’m following of EOD.

OA in SI joints
I had l5 S1 fusion/
laminectomy
and bilateral foraminotomy almost a year ago. I am still having back pain and a recent xray showed moderate osteoarthritis in the S1 joints. My left hip is extremely tight and my left ankle clunks and sometimes locks up when walking. Anyone have similiar issues?

Update on my father. Triplet therapy?
After my last post, my father underwent spinal cord decompression surgery - they did
laminectomy
and partial corpectomy of the fractured vertebrae and did pedicular screw fixation to stabilize the spine. It's been 2 weeks since surgery and he is prescribed bed rest for 4-6 weeks.
