Mirena Coil replaced
Hi I’m getting my Mirena coil replaced today as it’s been over 5 years since my first one. It’s been like night and day for me on the coil, no periods, minimal pain, even found it easier to keep weight off. My question is, has anyone found after getting their coil replaced it didn’t work as effectively

I recently had my pulmonary valve replaced but my heart remains enlarged and the arrhythmia despite a maze procedure I’ve now had an
ICD
fitted. Yet still getting palpitations. I was previously diagnosed with sub clinical hypothyroidism but tests stopped due to the above heart needs.

My wife has been discharged from hospital
I must firstly say a big thank you to all that have replied to my last posts. My meeting with the consultants was unimpressive as they were basically trying to cover their arses. The gastroenterologist didn't really remember my wife's history of numerous bleeds, blamed the on duty surgeon for not doing

First laparoscopy tomorrow, scared, looking for support.
Hey everyone, I'm having laparoscopy tomorrow to remove an endometrioma cyst on my ovary, having diagnostic/treatment for adenomyosis/endometriosis and having my low lying coil removed and replaced. This is my first surgery for anything, I've not been worrying too much until now, I feel like crying.

Copper coil irregular periods
I have never really had early periods but since having this coil they’ve been quite unpredictable and my last one was a 23 day cycle. I’m worried about infertility , or is this normal when you have the copper coil?

Ventricular fibrillation ablation
Post arrest an
ICD
was fitted, which has now fired 3 times since. Just looking for people's experiences of the electrical remapping of the heart procedure, which I understand is rarer than a 'normal' ablation, perhaps because I will be put into VF during the op?

Can a copper coil that has not been past expiry be dangerous?
Due to covid and an unsuccessful attempt at removal I still have my expired coil Just concerned that it may not be safe to have it inside me for too long

Mirena coil pain
I had the Mirena coil fitted just two days ago and I am still in absolute agony. I’ve had to phone in sick at work today. Has anyone else had this and if so when did the pain ease off? I have read that you shouldn’t have any pain effecting your daily activities. I really can’t cope with it anymore and

Cardiomyopathy and ICD and Pacemaker
ICD
and a pacemaker are also widely used nowadays and they have a specific function which is different from the above medications. Your cardiologist is the best person to advice on your specific requirements. Thank you. Regards.

How long?
I need some help please, I had my coil removed in February to try for a baby, how long do they advice to try before the endo gets to much again? Also I haven't had the covid injection because I don't want to add any more problems to falling,/carrying. Is there anyone else that feels like there isn't
