True story
I had a
epidural
when I was having my 1st child and still had the horrible RLS feelings in my legs.. I had to physically pick my legs up and move them manually in the middle of labor,!!And don't get me started on how brutal RLS is during pregnancy.. š

Cancellation of Arthroscopy as low TSH
I suggested that perhaps I have an
epidural
which was taken on board. On Thursday, I would like to ask the Anaethetist why he didn't call me? Why had it been left to two days prior to the operation? Why didn't they look at my medical records or ring my doctor?

Does chronic pain ever go away for elderly?
3 months: 1) Seeing Chiro weekly for muscle stretching (no spine adjustments, although I wish they did even minor ones for him bc he's so stiff and his joints are tight and I know the relief those adjustments bring.) 2) Reducing meds that zombify him 3) Mirtazapine for appetite 4) Cervical steroid

Covid, AKI and liver damage
The op was done using an
epidural
as they refused to give me a general anesthetic due to the Covid test. They said it was too dangerous to knock me out. I went into a coma two days after the op. Initially diagnosed with sepsis then HE. Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks Golly

Loss of bladder sensation post birth
I was also asked repeatedly if Iād had a catheter, which I did due to
epidural
, so this seemed to be the cause of loss of sensation but it was so frustrating that none of the health professionals could advise anything other than keep peeing and pelvic floor exercises when weeks had passed with no changes

Another round of departments
The doctor thought it might have been caused by the operation, the registrar thinks it's probably the
epidural
(they had to have a couple of goes at getting that in). So another department joins the list: I'm being sent for another CT because it'll show the nerve damage, and also to opthamology.

Caudal Epidural
By the time I had the
epidural
the initial searing back pain had subsided and I was left with the āheavy legsā which others report , and which the neurologist mentioned as a symptom of the stenosis, though I still cant help wondering if it is due to PMR.

Bladder Cancer Update and More. UPDATE.
"x rays shows OA throughout loss lumbar lordosis" I posted at the time being my spine is affected, would that affect me being able to have a spinal (
Epidural
) when I have a Cystoscopy? I said at the time I would consult my GP and she what she thought.

Has anyone had their baby turned?
I had my 1st baby turned during active labour under
epidural
... Just wondering what it is like in the weeks before full term, whether it is painful and it worked etc.... He is sitting pretty across my stomach at the moment! I am still only 35 weeks....so I know there is still a good bit of time.

Sciatica and PMR
I had bilateral
epidural
injections at L3 to see if it helped. After a week there was some relief but it hasnāt lasted very long. Today I got a message saying that I should follow up with rheumatology /neurology because I may having a āstepwise progression of underlying diseases ā.

CAUDAL EPIDURAL INJECTIONS AND RLS
The associated risks are too great but he has now suggested caudal
epidural
injection of local anaesthetic and steroid under deep sedation under x-ray control. I have tried pregablin, gabapentin and anti-depressants, the latter causing hallucinations and worsening my RLS.
