Bleeding in small bowel
I spoke to the specialist nurse who gave me the capsule
endoscopy
today. She said that I have a lot of adhesions and some bleeding in my small bowel. She was going to go through the images with my gastroenterologist today and discuss her findings. I assume this bleeding is the cause of my anaemia.

Here I Go Again- Gastrin Levels
I recently had an
endoscopy
/colonoscopy & CT scan. Came back clear. Is it correct to say with PA you can have high gastrin levels? Also, does anyone in the US know of a good GI Dr in the Philadelphia/NY area ? Hope I am ok to ask that. Thanks to all the admin members on here for keeping me sane.

Long term drinker
Endoscopy
was fine, bloods, liver function ok. Now I have slight discomfort in my right side below rib cage, which is aggravated by alcohol, also constipation and anxiety and a fuzzy sort of feeling in my head, (which could be caused by anxiety). I am quite active 3 or 4 mile walk on most days.

After having my
endoscopy
two weeks ago where they found some small erosion in three places and advised to not take ibuprofen or aspirin. I went back to see the doctor who referred me. He said that it would take time for those erosions to heal perhaps a month.

11 years of issues
I went through gastro and had the usual tests (sigmoidoscopy, colonoscopy,
endoscopy
etc). The colonoscopy was so bad I was screaming in pain after double the sedative but nothing was found. At age 20 I was diagnosed with endometriosis and it all made sense. I’ve had several surgeries since.

First endoscopy
I had my first
endoscopy
after having what appeared to be hiatus hernia symptoms. I had no sedation and couldn't tolerate the procedure and apparently a 'lump' was found. I was prescribed omperazole and told they will do another
endoscopy
in 4 weeks under sedation to do a biopsy.

Capsule endoscopy patency test
My consultant has referred me for a capsule
endoscopy
but because there are adhesions and a resolving blockage in the bowel I have to swallow a patency capsule in case it gets stuck in the bowel. I was booked in for the 31st Oct for a pre op.

Sore Throat - Thyroid / Cortisol Issues?
I had an
endoscopy
but everything looked normal. I've suffered with tinnitus (ringing ears) for years but the past year it is especially loud and unbearable at times.

And they want to make
endoscopy
! My son has no other symptoms than iron deficiency. I press them to do some other blood tests
before. B
ecause as I was told IFA is not a specific test for coeliac. What test should I do? I will be grateful for any guidance!

First endoscope... feeling nervous for results!!
Hi! In new here and this is my first time posting. I feel like I’m going insane and my whole family thinks I’m a hypochondriac and honestly that’s what I hope too!! Im a 30 year old female. A few months ago I started having dull stomach pain. I wouldn’t even call it pain, more of an empty gnawing feeling

Gastric endoscopy
I have to have a gastric
endoscopy
done tomorrow, and I confess I’m terrified. Has anyone had this done? Can you tell me a little about what to expect during & after?

Non specific gastritis, I’m not really sure what that means! 😏
Recently I’ve had oesophageal and stomach biopsies taken during
endoscopy
. They found grade b oesophagitis and 2 chronic ulcers during
endoscopy
, my biopsy results were non specific gastritis. Does anyone know if this means I don’t have autoimmune gastritis?

Acid Reflux, PPI's After PMR. Advice Please.
I’m scheduled for an
endoscopy
tomorrow (Friday) If he diagnoses some kind of gastric condition, I’m guessing he will probably prescribe PPI’s in an even higher dose. ( I haven't been taking them for the last 3 weeks) I am reading almost every week of studies telling of the dangers of long term use

Autoimmune gastritis due to PA
I have to go back now soon for a follow up
endoscopy
and colonoscopy as colon cancer ruins in my family. Its scary how you can have all this going on and only for my doctor recommended an
endoscopy
I would of never known. Does anyone else have autoimmune gastritis due to b12?

Why if you have nausea from acid reflux does eating (temporary) help?
Now it's acute and won't response to anti acid medication so having an
endoscopy
next Wednesday. So in the beginning I thought the nausea it was something I ate. Eating something again helped temporary not to feel sick.So why does it help?

IBS: Starting a journey to win back my life.
I have had an
endoscopy
done which showed gastritis. I also now suffer with diarrhoea. Tonight I have felt fine until eating some flapjack which has caused my whole upper stomach to go into agony, bubbles in stomach, wind.
