Depo-Medrol Injection and nausea
Hi everyone, Just wondered if anyone has had a chronic reaction to a steroid shot? I am only tiny and was given 120mg a month ago and I am literally grounded still with the worst nausea. I can barely eat and have lost 3/4 stone so am down to 7 stone ☹️ Is it possible I had too higher dose and my immune

I am back! In need of your excellent advice...
After successfully reducing to zero pred last autumn, the symptoms began to reappear. After advice about how to deal with a flare I increased the dose (to 15mg), but that didn't seem to help. Then I was given a depo-medrone injection, with the advice that it would last a couple of months and hopefully

I stopped using any steroids (low dose prednisone and

knee injections), B3, alpha lipoic acid and quercerin. Allergist did a tryptase test (normal) and has ordered another within 12 hours of next reaction (I'm hoping it never comes) She also ordered epi pen.

I got sick over 3 months ago and was prescribed a ZPack and a Medrol Pack. Three days into the treatment, I began experiencing anxiety, panic attacks, and insomnia. Steroid side effects?
After my GCA diagnosis I am on 40 mg Medrol at the moment. The classic GCA symptoms like headache, jaw pain, scalp tenderness 99% gone. Also my dry cough is totally stopped. But.. I have other weird and frustrating symptoms. Constant tinnitus, ear pressure, tingling feeling in both of my feet and sole

Depo and panic attacks?
So, I've had my first depo provera shot last week, and today, I think I've had 3 panic attacks, all seemingly out of the blue. As far as I can remember, I haven't had one before. I do have very mild anxiety but nothing I take medication for. Are panic attacks associated with depo? Have any of you experienced

Hello,Me and my consultant have decided to try depo provera 3 monthly injections as the next thing to try to help manage my endometriosis. Just a quick post to see if anyone has a positive or negative experience in terms of side effects and if it helped with the endometriosis? Thanks 🙂

Bruising reduction.
Have extensive dark bruising esp on legs. Am moisturizing arms and legs and just ordered arnica cream. Can I expect a reduction in this awful bruising steroid side effect as I taper down from medrol?? Am currently at 18,5 mgs. Thx.

Why do some AN grow quickly over a short period of time, could stress or hormones play a part?
My tumour has doubled in size in 10 months and the consultant said that it was unusual. He mentioned pregnancy, and hormones. Im 48, not pregnant, but i am on the contaceptive injection called depo provera, but considering ive been taking this birth control for 10 years, the consultant didn't seem to

long awaited rheumy appointment
nearly a year, then appt just 15 minutes long…was booked as a 45 mins appt. Nobody went in before me, I was only one in waiting room, & I saw him go into his room 5 mins before my appt time. I then waited 35 minutes. He seemed angry because I’d been given a new patient appt when I’d been seen twice before
