Operation done - endo found again, feeling low.
He performed excision of the endo which was in the vaginal vault, a
cystoscopy
and ureteric stenting. He had to make further incisions as he needed move my bladder out of the way and my urethrer tubes so he wouldn't damage them. I am home now, feeling ok just tired and sore as expected.

Hi hope everyone is having a good day today. I have a question about fibroids. Does anyone know much about them??
It is pushing my bladder to one side, and I am having a
cystoscopy
on the 12 th November. Has anyone had one, how was it?? Also, anyone had surgery to remove a fibroid?? Wondered what the recovery time is after surgery??

Hello (I'm new and here is my story)
I finally had a
cystoscopy
in 2008 which came back with nothing so felt I was fussing yet again. It wasn't until early this year when the pain was getting all too much especially the bowel pain that I saw a female doctor at my surgery.

Can endometriosis be missed during a laparoscopy
I have had an ultrasound, and MRI scan and a
cystoscopy
to look in my bladder - but all results were normal. I just dont know what to do. The pain I experience during my period is excruciating and I have been back to my GP.

Lower back pain when walking
My doc is very thorough though and I was sent for
cystoscopy
and am going for kidney scan due to blood constantly showing in urine with no infection. I was diagnosed with ITP (low platelets) last June ( now in remission).

Waaaaaait for meeee! (post scan update)
Not seeing the urologist until after my next procedure (which I'm still waiting for a date for) which is a
cystoscopy
(camera up into bladder). More fun to look forward to! Meds; 50mg ami, cerezette, ran out of loratadine (d'oh!)

New and in the diagnosis process
I had a
cystoscopy
done to check out my bladder since I'm having so many issues, and afterwards peed blood for days and felt like I was shooting out razorblades for a week or two. But of course my bladder looked fine at the time.

Has anyone had a biopsy taken of their bladder?
I was referred to the urologist to have a flexible
cystoscopy
done under local anaesthetic. The Urologist found inflammation in my bladder and now wants to carry out a rigid
cystoscopy
under general anaesthetic and take a biopsy. Has anyone else had this done? Samantha x
