Robotic Ureteral Reimplantation
Have any of you had this surgery? How did it turn out? My right ureter has a partial blockage that is believed to be radiation damage from my prostate cancer radiation treatments five years ago. The ureter is very narrow near the bladder, and urine flow is restricted. A surgeon at University of Chicago

How often do you have MRI scans?
I was diagnosed with a 5mm acoustic neuroma a year ago after having chronic migraine and several other neurological symptoms for a few years. A month ago, I had another MRI to check if the tumour has grown. It hasn't, it's the same size. Now I received a letter saying that my next scan will be in 3 years

My Cancer Journey Repost
It's time for a repost of my two-part cancer journey diary. Some "starting the journey readers" might find it helpful. Originally posted as two replies - maybe I should make it an actual full post. So I am pleased to report that
other than fatigue, I feel sort of normal right now

Looking for options after Verzenio.
Spoke with my onc today and she said if Verzenio fails she’s thinking about Afinitor. Said I’m running out of options and IV chemo might not be far off after that. I’ve been on Faslodex, Anastrozole, Ibrance and Verzenio is my 3rd line of treatment. No mutations. I feel like there are many more options

Looking for medical oncologist at Memorial Sloan Kettering.
I was diagnosed one year ago with two very small tumors, one on each lobe. Gleason 6, grade group one. Less than 5% involvement in each tumor. Decipher of 0.28, which suggests low aggressiveness. PSA has remained 0.7 for a many years. Although I think Fox Chase Cancer center in Philadelphia is a fine

delivery day: Body’s ‘message in a bottle’ delivers targeted cancer treatment
“Researchers at Karolinska Institutet in Sweden have succeeded in delivering targeted cancer treatment via small membrane bubbles that our cells use to communicate. A new study published in Nature Biomedical Engineering shows that the treatment reduces tumour growth and improves survival in mice.”
