Radiation side effects
They have not ordered
colonoscopy
because they "feel" it will not show anything. Off to see another GI doctor and a new Oncologist but getting appointments takes months.

Had
colonoscopy
and scan. So, docs say that's what it must be, even though unusually to start at my age. Now 74. Bouts are getting more frequent and this one's been awful, about 6 days now. I'm in UK by the way. All I'm given us Buscopan.

Colonoscopy booked
Hey guys, I have a
colonoscopy
booked for May 10th and they plan to also have a look around in my stomach while out under. Just wondering if anyone has any experience and could let me know what to expect?

Being dismissed because I’m on contraceptive pill
Hi everyone, I’m new here! After an eleven year battle with horrendous symptoms, I was diagnosed with PCOS in 2016 and received very little follow-up care. My symptoms continued, and I was put on Rigevidon in January 2019, which has helped. Last year, I had an abnormal smear result and attended a colposcopy

I am tired of high GGT, ALT and ALP
I had all of it -
colonoscopy
,MRI, CT, gastroscopy and fibroscan. All is normal. But why GGT sits in 130, ALP in 150 and ALT in 60? It has been like that for 4 months and no improvement. :( . Pain under my ribs went away for some time and now it is back. I dont know what think anymore.

Help/Advice please
Hello everyone, I was diagnosed with microscopic colitis via
colonoscopy
and biopsy whilst living in India 5 years ago. I've never had any treatment and my GP isn't interested when I tell him about the pain I'm in. It's started to keep me awake at night now and I feel so miserable.

Feeling bad after anesthesia
I had a
colonoscopy
done yesterday and they gave me an anesthetic. Propofol I believe . My Gastro was aware of my fatty liver beforehand and told me it should be fine. The day after I am feeling run down , like a truck hit me. I’m wondering if I am jaundice (chalk that up to anxiety I guess).

Gone to emergency room twice
Surgeon has to do
colonoscopy
to find out where, yuck. Was given pain medicine, can't remember what, and I started hurting worse. I was screaming, crying and begging for help. I have anxiety and depression so I started shaking and grabbing the bed rails as hard as I could.

IBS OR DIVERTICULITIS? I FOUND IT IN HOSPITAL
Saturday told me I was stable, Ct scan showed nothing of concern but sent outpatients next week for
colonoscopy
to be sure. So changed diet gave up my curry's and especially egg fried rice, batter now remains off the menu. Going to have to rebalanced my diet cutting out the pastry and the dairy.

How long did your IBD diagnosis take? Worried about untreated inflammation.
So because of this, after symptoms have existed for 6-8 years, you should get a
colonoscopy
ever 1-2 years.

Any link between high bilirubin and rectal bleeding?
I’ve had rectal bleeding for over a year now despite a negative
colonoscopy
July 31, 2020. Blood tests show elevated bilirubin levels, but I don’t show any symptoms of hyper-bulimia.

28 years old. IBD, Liver dysfunction ALT 289, Dr wants me to cut antidepressants to see if it lowers ALT, not sure if this is normal
For some reason gastro was insistent on doing another
colonoscopy
and refusing to give steroids because “lymphocytic colitis should be mild we need to check for crohns or UC” and since steroids would affect the
colonoscopy
outcome, despite identical symptoms as I had at diagnosis, i now have to wait

the dreaded ca125 check......
I’ve been suffering from stomach pains since my stomach reversal in September 2019, and recently had a
colonoscopy
which was normal and am now awaiting a contrast follow through X-ray. As I’m sure you can imagine, this increases the anxiety for the check.

Fecal Microbiota Transplantation (FMT), Is It A Nearer Term Future Treatment For People Living With Parkinson's Disease?
In a study completed last year(2020), they used two methods of delivering the stool transplant into the PwP which included nasointestinal transplant and transplant via
colonoscopy
. Of these two methods, transplant via the colon was shown to be superior to the nasointestinal delivery.
