Successful Cardioversion yesterday :)
My INR has been really up and down and was actually just below 2 yesterday despite me taking more and more warfarin in the last couple of weeks - so I've got to self-inject
clexane
for 7 days now (which isn't much fun).

Does anyone have problems with being allergic to medication? I seem to swell up or retain fluids if I take medications.
I am still on
clexane
which I am afraid it is not doing the trick. The headaches have returned, my thinking is clouded & just feel like the blood is not flowing as well.

I am on Clexane so there are no INR to know if your blood is thick or thin or... How do you know???
Some days I feel like I've got it under control, but then there are days like today. My body feels weird. I hurt. My hands & arms feel cold---almost like you have a tourniquet on your upper arm for a long time. My legs feel the same. My muscle cramp up. I usually have a headache. For those who can test

And it will also help with pregnancies - as women will know before they start trying for a family if they require aspirin/
clexane
during their pregnancies. What's everyone's opinions on this? And who do I approach to make this point - is it my local MP?? Thank you x

In the hospital I started to use
Clexane
and I also changed doctor after a short visit to just drop on his desk the report from the Spanish hospital. They recommend me to fix the
Clexane

Pain management while on blood thinners
This time i'm on
clexane
injections so can't take the ibuprofen therefore can't get the pain under control long enough for the muscles to relax. I've had the diazepam and co codamol, even tramadol but nothing I would usually do is working.

Clexane and lumps
This is for anyone on
Clexane
. I inject twice a day and am sometimes left with large painful lumps that usually bruise. I do apply arnica cream which does help but they can be very painful.

Coming off Clexane/Finding a good doctor
So after much MUCH to-ing, fro-ing and indecision over very high positive APL blood test results (interspersed with normal results) I was finally put on a
Clexane
trial.

Then if I go below 3
clexane
jabs. My INR is fairly erratic. They also are suggesting plaquenil for the pain and for its mild anticogualant effects and also for the lupus type symptoms I have (they are retesting for lupus as I am a weak positive). Still new to all this.

New to Hughes, but not really.
I have recently started on warfarin after years on
Clexane
and I have to admit its a struggle. Its so hard to be normal when I don't know what normal feels like anymore. Fatigue, aches and pains, feeling like I cant get enough oxygen all the time, its a struggle daily.
