Spiriva and Atrovent
Can anyone clarify whether or not you are able to take atrovent/ combivent nebs if you take Spiriva everyday? When I was in A&E and an inpatient on the ward I was given atrovent/ combivent nebs every 6 hours even though I was taking Spiriva in the morning. On my discharge letter it says not to take

Pred and Chickenpox
Hello! Hope this finds everyone in good health!! I have heard that if you are on pred then you should avoid chickenpox and shingles cos your immune system gets repressed. I am not on pred at the moment but my last dose was only a couple of weeks ago and I have had one/two courses a month since September

Atrovent vs Spiriva
I have just restarted spiriva- when I originally tried it, it was felt that it didnt make a significant enough difference to me. A couple of months down the line and have been struggling badly with the pollen- having failed since May to get pred below 20mg and keep it there. Everytime I reduce my peak

Saline nebs
Anyone else using them ? Hossie asthma nurse recommended them to help shift mucus plugs and gunk ! Least the ones gps has given me are only 2.5ml not those massive 5ml things the hossie give me ! Also is it best to do saline on its own or can you mix it with bricanyl and atrovent, as when in hossie

medication irresponsibility!!
Im absolutely fuming - i recently discovered someone i know had been getting 2.5mg, 5mg and atrovent ebs from her friend and giving them to 1) a 5 yr old child who might be asthmatic or have lung probs due to prematurity and 2) someone else who is late 30's and only has occasional probs with hs asthma

Is anyone else's voice affected by their inhalers, etc?
Hi there,Over the last 2 years, my voice has got hoarser & croakier, and now I (literally) sound like a 60-a-day smoker. I'm a 27-year-old woman, so it's not attractive!I've been told by a couple of people that my inhalers could have caused this problem, as they are both powder-based. I'm wondering if
