Changing medication
Hello everyone I've been on antidepressant for a very long time, and not working so well After speaking to my GP recently, it was decided I should try another one. Very apprehensive. I also have to take at night which is to help me sleep better. Just wandered if anyone else has been in this situation

Antidepressant Medication Withdrawal
Hi, I’ve recently stopped taking Venlafaxine (2 days ago) which I was taking for depression. I was taking 300mg a day and over the last 6 weeks I’ve reduced them and this week I decided after getting down to 75mg a day to stop taking them. I have been feeling sick, light headed, dizzy and having very

My tinnitus journey continues
Does anyone think it’s a good idea to start tapering the Zopiclone and
antidepressants
down so I can come off them completely?

trazodone or clonidine?
. :) i discussed some (2)
antidepressants
that i may be able to take with the RLS since my depression and anxiety have been getting a bit worse. we decided on trazodone (even though she kept trying to push SSRI’s lmao). she said the wellbutrin may make my anxiety worse, which i can’t really afford right

Possible environmental impact of diet and medications on the onset of MSA symptoms
Take any form of
antidepressants
? 5. Take Omeprazole? ... in the years leading up to MSA. Reason for asking these questions is that I have read that changes in gut microbiome (bad bacteria and inflammed gut lining) may be implicated in the cause and ongoing symptoms of MSA.

Olanzipine Side Effects or Depression?
I am currently not taking any
antidepressants
as there was a worry it would trigger mania again. I am finding things really hard at the moment. I'm hoping that a reduction in olanzipine will help my mood and give me more energy.

I take
antidepressants
. One , desipramine, supposedly slows down prostate cancer. NIH scoffed at that. I took a lot of aspirin starting out , was told to quit that by NIH. My theory was eliminating inflammation was a good thing. My bone mets dried up so far.

Update: need advice!
He’s given me a prescription for metformin (which helps treat insulin resistance), a prescription for iron tablets, a prescription for lexapro (which are
antidepressants
) and a prescription for some anxiety calming medication (I can’t remember the name of it but he gave it to me just as a precaution

Lexapro Vision and Hearing Side Effects
While not taking any other medicine or drug, I tried one 5mg Lexapro pill and woke up at 4am seeing a glow or halo around bright items, like my alarm clock. It also seemed to bring out tinnitus in my ears. It seems to really activate nerves it shouldn’t. I didn’t have that problem with Paxil, but

Olanzapine withdrawal/life after Olanzapine
Dear all, I have been off Olanzapine for two weeks now after tapering down very slowly. Since I left the meds, I have a generalized feeling of anxiety when I wake up in the mornings, it is like a negative feeling that I carry in my chest along the day, luckily during the evening/nights if normally fades

Living for others
I've been living with anxiety and depression for many years, and have just recently gone onto
antidepressants
. I've been finding it harder and harder to get out of bed each morning, and some mornings I don't.

Having read some of the posts I feel doctors in NHS dont take thyroid issues seriously so I want to get a full bloods check done, doctor keeps offering
antidepressants
which I dont want as yet another medicine to take and im not convinced its true depression, more a daily struggle to keep going and brain

Cross Tapering Experience with Antidepressants
I'm new here. After 20-plus years taking Effexor for depression, with decreasing effectiveness lately, my psychiatrist has recommended cross-tapering from this drug to Zoloft. I would like to have others share their experiences coping with cross-tapering--that is, gradually decreasing Effexor dosage
