Daily Updates post egg collection: warning - good result which might not be what you want to read right now
I just wanted to share my story and updates incase anyone is travelling the same. I just know that when I went through my first round of ICSI in 2020, I was always desperately searching for daily updates post egg collection. I know you can’t really compare stories given there are so many variables at

egg collection
** only 1 fertilised 🥺 Had our egg collection this morning - wasn’t as scary as I thought! We managed 6 eggs - seems a bit low considering my age (I’m 35), AMH and the fact I had 14 follicles. Really hoping they’re mature and fertilise…we were also booked for ICSI but they said only IVF is needed 🤷

CIRRHOSIS & BREAST CANCER?
My husband, now 84 has been on and off here since his cirrhosis diagnosis post
AIH
January 2014. He has gone from compensated to decompensated with a 6 month prognosis back to compensated, problems with a large portal vein thrombosis and varices but otherwise remarkably fit and pretty stable.

Is fibrosis f2 reversible?
I was told it was mild fibrosis but online charts indicate f2 as 'significant fibrosis with evidence of progressive liver disease' I have
AIH
& am taking budesonide 9mg daily. My LFTs have started to normalise so it will be pretty accurate.

Extra tests advice
Hi everyone, I’m starting to think about going for my 3rd IVF cycle and considering doing some extra testing first. However, my clinic (who I really like) are not recommending it. So just wondering if anyone has had a similar experience and done something that’s gone on to make a difference? Bit of

Hi everyone! I was due to start another cycle before Xmas but I was sick , and then my husband was sick over Xmas so we had to push it to this month. Because of my husbands illness at Xmas, his most recent semen sample came back diagnosed with Oligoteratozoospermia. Never had a problem before , however

IVF at 29 years old
A lot of people often tell me that I am young and time is on my side. At 18 I felt something was not right with my body (periods were prolonged and painful, fluctuating weight) and I seem to have a phantom issue as nothing has been found wrong yet. At 27 years old I had 8MC's last one in 2017. Since

Excellent sleep aid
Hi gang. You all know the trouble I’ve had sleeping recently. Well last night I added two new elements to my routine: CBD oil and this product from a Canadian? firm called Comfort Linen . The sheets etc are designed to work together and I must say I was very impressed with the freeing up of my movements

DHEA supplement with normal levels
Hello ladies. I have a very low AMH of 1 at age of 38. Apart from this there is no known identified deficiency, or abnormality. My DHEA level is normal. I want to know if anyone has taken DHEA supplements despite normal levels and that helped with raising DHEA?Any positive experience of DHEA intake would

Number of transfers before success?
We've just completed our 4th IVF round (5th transfer) and got another bfn this morning. I have very low amh (unexplained) therefore we only get 1/2 embryos viable for transfer each go. I understand that it will take me more than the average 3 rounds due to this. I'm at a cross roads whether to give up

Care Manchester or Create Fertility Manchester better for over 40
Hi All, I would appreciate if you would PM me with some advice on 2 above clinics. I am 41, AMH 4.2 last year. I have completed 3 cycles (5 transfers) which resulted in 1 TDMR, 2 BFN, 1 chemical and 1 early miscarriage. I have stayed with the same clinic so far but my consultant doesn’t want to try
