Severe RLS Where do I go now?
Hi! I've been lurking reading your posts for a couple of years. I live in Sweden and am a 58 yo female and have severe burning RLS without PLMD. Here's a condensed version of my story: July 2011 Laminectomy C4-C5. no real slide effects except nerve pain in right index finger which I've learned to block

Hi, I’m new here (or I’ve been acting like a shadow for months, reading your stories & experiences and feeling a sense of support from you all without reaching out, so firstly thank you) I have had ongoing pelvic pain since 2021. Continuously. It started as a niggle in my right ovary. I noticed it

Should PPIs be stopped when stomach bugs get a grip?
Stopped omeprazole about 5 days ago, not even getting
acid
reflux
now, but also no appetite and whatever I eat turns to water and is expelled about 4 hours later. It's horrible urgh. Just started some Imodium, no change after 4 tabs so far.

Approximately 3 years ago I was diagnosed with NAFLD after bloodwork for a routine endoscopy due to

issues. Since my diagnosis my doctor has performed an extensive array of labs and scans from ultrasounds to CT scans to Fibroscans.

Update 7.7
It has been a while since my last update. Overall, things are going well. I feel better than ever, other than my knees. Time for another hyaluronic acid injection to lubricate the knees. I am going to try Durolane this time. It is a single injection instead of a series of three. In other news

strontium
I’ve recently finished 2 year course of Teriparatide and have a hospital appointment shortly to decide next treatment. I have discussed possibility of Stontium with doctor. Does anyone have experience of taking this? Are some kinds of Strontium better than others and will I have a choice as to what

Please, what shape and how long/wide are the tablets people take? Note that there are good reasons why I should not have infusions. Meds involving

Anyone with alendronate side effects?
I was just diagnosed with osteoporosis in July of this year. My physician immediately started me on alendronate. Approximately two months into treatment I began having severe shoulder joint and muscle pain that is making it too painful to do most exercise I had begun. My physician thinks it is unrelated

Complicated Case
I sometimes get
acid
reflux
and heartburn. I also have had issues to varying degrees with an eating disorder since I was 13 (I’m 41 now) I had anorexia, and wouldn’t like the idea of food in my system so I would manually evacuate (with medical gloves) to check I was empty.

Anyone taking Anticoagulants for AF, together with Alendronic Acid for Osteoporosis?
I've got AF and taking Edoxaban. I'm also taking Atorvastatin, Ramipril, Bisoprolol and Levothyroxine.I've just been told that I have Osteoporosis, which is a side effect of taking Letrozole for 5 years for breast cancer. Alendronic Acid can help osteoporosis, together with taking calcium and vitamin
