Travel Insurance

Wife recently diagnosed with CBD.

Lost use of 1 arm, other one is less under her control.

Balance is variable.

Looking to travel to Spain.

Any suggestions as to Travel Insurance company to use pls ?

If you Google insurance companies that cover medical issues you can find a vast number to try but as a starter I know Staysure and All Clear cover PSP so should cover CBD. Not sure they'll do an annual policy but certainly do a one trip policy. I went with All Clear slightly better value and very pleasant to deal with. We needed a UK travel insurance policy but they did say at the time they would cover PSP if we wanted foreign travel. One difference was All Clear covered damage to property which we needed for a holiday home rental (in case husband fell and broke something) but Staysure said they didn't cover this.

This is a subject that has come up in the past. Not sure how relevant the information might be now, but it might be worth a quick spin through the archives here. Lots of experience collected.

we have used both companies the last one being All Clear we could get an annual policy but it didn’t include America as to expensive but both do single trips. Good luck we miss our holidays 💜

We used Staysure. They were more relaxed about my husband's PSP than they were about my stent!Happy travels and memories, while you can. x

We have always used Staysure as they have CBD listed among the conditions they cover and only ask 3 or 4 questions about the condition. So it should not be a problem to sort out.
