Not a bad summary of all things adrenal - except how it affects us! I like the way everyone these days is singing from at least related hymnsheets for diet!!! Healthy diet and cut the processed stuff ....

Diet seems to be the same for all conditions. I’ve been following an anti inflammatory diet since PMR onset, even treated myself to a new anti-flam cook book which has some pretty good recipes. I’m down to 1mg now but often feel tired so thought I’d look up adrenal fatigue during withdrawal and tapering.

If you look at the diet stuff - it does reinforce the purpose of the diet they developed for rationing during the war but with a lot more nice things! The UK population was said to be at its healthiest on that diet. Though there are things from then I can't say I would miss ;)

Woolton Pie!

Now that was OK - my mother made a slightly meaty version with corned beef and I actually quite liked it! Did you see the series about eating through the decades which had one episode from the war. The modern family approved of Woolton Pie, even the kids!

I’ve never heard of Woolton pie but have just found the recipe bigoven.com/recipe/the-orig... 😀

You'd think it would be popular these days with vegetarians - even vegans.

Interesting to hear what you think. It is quite interesting reading up on the history. My sister is a food historian so always telling me anecdotes.

Yes I do remember that now. I suppose it is all relative. We could have Boris Pie!
