Hello ZenaJ
This is such great, positive news. Thank you for giving us all hope. If you don’t mind, can you please share what treatment you had and if you had any recurrences. I am almost two years into treatment, there has really been no break since surgery in November, 2022. 😞
Hi, I had surgery about two months after a scan showed a large tumour. The chemo was a trial of 18 weekly visits rather than every 3 weeks. I had Paclitaxel and Carboplatin. Once that was finished I had check ups and a scan. After 5 years no more visits but my doctor lets me have CA125 test every 6 months. Just for peace of mind. No recurrences. As I say I've been very lucky. Wishing you all the best. xx
Thank you for posting this Zena and please continue to send your positive news. It is so thoughtful and kind of you to share good news and I am really pleased to hear you’re continuing to do so well - hope it continues forever! Sending love xxx

Congratulations! Wonderful news!
It's so good to hear such positive news, that's fantastic Zena! I am sure you will confirm that having a positive & hopeful mindset certainly helps. Must be tough to do at times, with constant worry. I'm currently having 1st line treatment for stg 4 clear cell, a rarer type, and hearing this gives me hope for my future. Thanks for sharing, long may it continue xx
I was diagnosed with clear cell 10 yrs ago April, I've had no reoccurrence since.
That's great news 😀. We always need positive stories to keep us believing.
Dear Zena,

That’s great, Zena! 8 years for me. Stage 3B. It is possible to live a long life with this disease. My oncologist sees me regularly and I have CA125 tests every six months. Hugs!
Thank you Zena for sharing this. It's so good to have some positive news as all too often I focus on the negative. I shall think of you when I fall down that rabbit hole xx
Thanks so much Zena for sharing your positive update, so important for any newly diagnosed ladies to keep their hopes up! I’m so happy you’re well after 11 years, I’m 6 years in but did have a recurrence last year however doing well now on letrozole. I’m inspired by your story and appreciate you sharing your lovely news!
Liz Xx 💖
Thank you Liz. Sorry for delay but I'm just returned from holiday in Spain. T-shirts yesterday and 3 wooly jumpers today.
Sorry to hear about your recurrence. I don't know anything about letrozole but I'm sure it must be the latest in cancer treatment for us ladies. I do hope this is the last you'll see of this horrible disease and very happy to hear you are 6 years down the line. You'll be joining the long term survivors soon. All the best. Zena xx
Great to hear the encouraging news, Zena. Almost 9 years in here, 1 recurrence so far (6 years ago) and on Letrozole since (for low grade OvCa). Hope you're feeling ok on a day to day basis. That holiday in Spain sounds like just the thing... . xx, Maus
