Is it possible that's the reason you couldn't tolerate directions from your ex-boss Pat ................ 'cause she's female ? If so, you might struggle with further employment as women have become an integral part of society................welcome to the 21st century m'dear !

Maybe something you need to talk through with your counsellor ?

yep, get used to it. most of us spent our childhood taking instructions from females... mother, grandmother, primary school teachers etc... they have made us who we are.

Are you sure about your first statement "I can't take Orders from a Female", or is it this particular person?

As a Feminist I'm not going to presume she's in the right, as I don't know the dynamics but you need to try and answer that question first.

That's a better place to be, if only because it doesn't rule out working in a team.

Although it still begs the question why you lumped that person in with all other women.

Given what I've picked up about your situation, in my experience depression isn't just about being down but it can distort all our thoughts. This can be really insidious planting ideas in our head, which seem perfectly justified and well thought out at the time.

I can't say I'm right but it's certainly worth discussing this with your counsellor.
