Does anyone know if Canesflor has been discontinued? If so any recommendations for a similar product x

I used it last year but saw it's been discontinued at boots and superdrug recently. Not sure why though.

Thank you, I have checked on Amazon and its stopped showing on mine. And eBay people are selling for over 50quid for a pack! I hope they haven’t discontinued it (as I have heard they have) as I have seen so many people say they used it before FET xx

Oh wow sorry I just checked mine and gone. I used it before transfers 5 and 6 and BFN. Ordered some for transfer 7 and it didn’t arrive. BFP! I take Optibac oral probiotic and only started those before transfer 7 although was on a different brand for a few months before that x

I am also taking optibac womens oral probiotic too but only 1 a day, how many did you take? i have also got one called free soul intimate flora for women probiotic too. I know i will probably be fine but because i know i cant get it, its making me want it more hahaha xx

I started on 2 a day for first month then dropped to 1 a day after transfer.

Ha ha! I know it’s frustrating when you know what you want!!! X

I called the company that makes Canesflor and they confirmed discontinued.

how strange ! I bought mine a few weeks ago from a large boots . Previously from Amazon. Really recommend it - I got a bfp the cycle I used it before a bfp! Xx

I wonder if some of the stores still have stock that they are using up but not replacing. Such a shame if it is discontinued as my doctor recommended it and i have seen so many good stories from people using it before transfer xxx

I Have just contacted Bayer the company for Canesten products. They have confirmed the product has been discontinued, not due to any issues with the product they have just discontinued it and thats it

I annoyingly dropped one capsule on the floor so have had to buy another pack just so I can finish the course. I was worried I wouldn't be able to get a pack because everywhere was out of stock.

Oh no, I guess that will happen to my order too. They should really update their website. I guess I'll just have to finish my course of 9 capsules instead of 10. I've seen optibac do oral probiotics. I think I'll try them for next time but too late for this fet cycle xx

When is your FET date? Start the optibac women's now/order on amazon today for delivery tomorrow, you can take up to 3 a day. I also take Free Soul women's intimate flora as that has 20billion cfu. They are 2 day. I don't think they take long to have a good effect maybe around 2 weeks according to the free soul website. You can get them on amazon too. See link for the details about them.

Thanks so much!! I've got a scan next Thursday and then will have to wait for period to start which should be a week or two after that. I have pcos so normally need medicine to induce a bleed but when I was in the clinic last week they could see my lining building and a follicle so wanted me to come back after ovulation.

I'm a bit confused about the probiotics. Is it OK to take them while on period if they're the oral ones?

Canesflor I was taking every day for 6 days and then one a week. Xx

Ah ok sounds like you have enough time to get them started and in your system, i have my FET on the 23rd May and haven't had any vaginal probiotics only oral ones (optibac and Free soul). I have been taking them everyday since the start of my second IVF cycle in January even through periods. My doctor said to keep taking them before and after transfer too.

i always take mine on a morning too, as i read on the free soul website that is when the acid in the stomach is closest to neutral.

Thank you so much, that's so helpful to know. I've ordered optibac and they arrive tomorrow so I'll get started then. All a bit of a minefield isn't it.
