Tummy pain cause you need a wee?

It’s the 6th day of my period today which is the last day and I normally get the worse pain on the first two days. But I woke up at 7.30am this morning with severe tummy pain and had to take naproxen and it was hurting my tummy more to move, it then went 10 minutes after taking the naproxen and I think it had just gone away on its own cause I don’t think the painkiller would normally work that quickly. Mum later said I probably just needed a wee and I said you don’t wake up with really bad tummy pain that’s worse when you move, cause you need a wee.

But could it just be needing a wee? Or is she just normalising and minimising my symptoms? This is new for it to suddenly hurt so much on the 6th day and then not hurt so much after a bit.

I get terrible pain when I need to urinate or my bladder is full. I have multiple organs tethered together not sure if this is anything to do with it.

It’s sharp/stabbing.

I'm not officially diagnosed with endo yet, but I get quite a bit of pain when my bladder is really full. Same if I really need to poop! It's like a lot of pressure builds up and I get shooting pains and aches until I go to the toilet. And that happens more when I'm close to or on my period. So I think it's possible that, if you have endo, pressure building up from needing to go to the toilet could be causing pain due to other areas already being inflamed. Again, I don't know for sure, but that's what I've been experiencing for the last couple years while being sat on waiting lists for a diagnosis.I recommend keeping tracking of any symptoms like that in an app like Clue or in a diary. That way you can figure out when and why it's happening, and you can show it to doctors to help get you diagnosed or to get treatment if needed.

It hurts if I need to go to the toilet. I have Endo confirmed in my bladder and bowel. I usually wake up hurting from it.

Do you know for definite if it’s the endometriosis affecting your bladder that’s causing the pain in the morning and is it randomly worse and sometimes not painful at all?

Well Endometriosis has been found on my bladder so that's as definite as it can be I guess! Sometimes it doesn't hurt at all. Its not mega-painful, but it is uncomfortable.

Definitely. I feel much better after emptying the bladder. It's the pressure it creates im the region. I never wait until is completely full.

I have severe right flank pain of a morning before my first wee. Goes as soon as I've had a wee! But it's such a struggle to even move at times never mind get to the loo. Awaiting a lap to confirm how bad things are as they expect bad from my MRI 🫠
