I am currently experiencing severe heartburn for the first time after going to bed. I was Diagnosed with PD 6 yrs ago and. started Carbidopa/levodopa 25/100 extended release about 6 mos ago. Have experienced bloating, slight constipation since but never this severe heartburn pain. Looked online for info and will try to be more vigilant re timing of taking C/L. Have read Daphne’s book about HDT and started taking a. B-complex and magnesium about two weeks in preparation for trying B1 high dose therapy. Could this have anything to do with this sudden horrible heartburn? Any ideas or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

I wouldn't like to speculate on your question. What I do know is the neuromuscular device iqoro (iqoro.com no affiliation) in tandem with this little marvellous reflux bed wedge pillow (ebay.co.uk/itm/275630431329) have reduced my reflux to almost zero. The iqoro isn't cheap but it's been worth every penny to me to get this handled. You can also move to decaff if you're - like me - a coffee lover. Hope this helps you.
I also got bad heartburn from the B1 pills. So I have just switched to sublingual B1
I take esomaprazole every day prescribed by my doctor who says reflux caused by the meds, c/L rasagaline and pramipexole
