Trial of Globus Pallidus Focused Ultrasound - Cure Parkinson's
Trial of Globus Pallidus Focused Ultrasound
Paul,
Why do you think that?
No where in the link you are referring to does it specifically say what symptoms were improved. The only symptom mentioned is Dyskinesia which you don't have - yet.
"CONCLUSIONS
Unilateral pallidal ultrasound ablation resulted in a higher percentage of patients who had improved motor function"
I think Pallidotomy is primarily for tremor, dyskinesia, rigidity, & bradykinesia. Balance and speech may be improved, but are also listed as potential Adverse Events.
Plus, it is for people who are unresponsive to c/l, but you are responsive, aren't you?
"Last Updated: 10 March 2023
FDA approved for both Tremor Dominant Parkinson’s Disease and Dyskinesia"
