Estrogen Replacement therapy after surgical menopause
Hi everyone! I would like to chat with somebody who may have or is going through a similar experience. I had a full hysterectomy- removal of everything, over 20 years ago. I am on 2mg of Estrogen once per day. The docs used to do the implant yearly but it is no longer available. I am now 51

Good News!!!
My dr. approved the buprenorphine for me. I am thinking positive that it will work. She is giving me the patch. I am excited. I have to discontinue the horizant though which surprised me and of course discontinue the oxycodone. Hopefully now you won't have to listen to me complaining and I will

itching
I had a transplant 18 months ago and 6 days ago the hospital reduced my Tacrolimus and increased my Prednisolone to improve my kidney function (although it was no worse than it has been since the transplant). I’m gradually increasing the Tac and decreasing the Prednisolone but today lve started itching

Vasculitis in the pancreas?
Has anyone with GPA or MPA been diagnosed with pancreatic issues due to vasculitis? Hubby had has GPA for 15 years, kidney transplant and sinus involvement and most often in remission until now. He has lost 40 pounds( not trying) and must take enzymes to digest food with a very bland diet. All this happened

Using Red Clover, Sage and Ashwagandha for the menopause, and it's safety with hypothyroidism?
Hiya. I am currently in the menopause with early onset osteoporosis, and have autoimmune related hypothyroidism. I am looking into various ways to manage this, conventional HRT being the least desirable. I much prefer natural ways to manage my health wherever possible, and I've found various herbal supplements

Early breast cancer
I've just been diagnosed with early breast cancer. I've had mammogram, biopsy and mri. The lump is 3cm. I am awaiting a tests on my lymph nodes. Then have been told lumpectomy, radiotherapy and /or chemotherapy. It's oestrogen and progesterone driven. I am on hrt, I'm perimenopausal. I also had a heart

HRT post ovarian cancer
Hi, does anyone have anything on HRT post ovarian cancer and radical hysterectomy? I’m 14 years post diagnosis and struggling with brain fog and fatigue. Is HRT an option?

Hypo, HRT and weight gain?
Hi. Have people who are hypo and use HRT gained weight since starting it? Everything I read re HRT, claims it can cause weight gain, which to a Hypo/Hashi sufferer, this is the last thing you want to hear. What have been people's experience? Thanks, appreciate it.

Methylation to feel good
Hi Folks, Thank you for all the advice and words of encouragement. I’ve been reading a lot of papers on methylation and the effects on the body, below is an article that seems to sum it up if interested… https://draxe.com/health/methylation/ I’ve also been doing a lot of reading on higher incidences

Coming Off Ropinirol
Hello RLS Community First off, I just want to thank so many of you for the amazing support you offer here. It’s not hyperbolic of me to say you are LIFE SAVERS. I really appreciate the feedback and responses I had to my previous post. 🙏💕🙏 On to my question: I would like to come off Ropinirol

Both ovaries out or not?
Hi, its me again! So ive read my notes from my MDT meeting and noticed they want to take both my ovaries out when they do my hysterectomy and endo excision. One has a big endometrioma on it and as of last year the scan showed the other was healthy. My question is do I agree to them both coming out and

Dienogest withdrawal
Hi everyone,I could really do with some advice as I'm really struggling and don't know what to do. I've been in treatment for just over a year and my endo is shrinking nicely . I had Zoladex injections for 10 months with hrt. I struggled with the side effects and to find an hrt that didn't make me bleed

Is the end in sight???
Hi everyone, this is my first post and reading others seems I am in the right place to discuss these issues with others who know exactly what I am going through. Others, even close friends, I think at times just dont get it... From what I read others too have had a long long road to diagnosis and treatment

what to try next?
Hi everyone :) I don't think I've posted before, probably because as awful as endo is, I've been lucky in a lot of ways. . I was diagnosed via laparoscopy in 2015, and I live in a city with an accredited endo centre, so my surgeon knew what he was doing. He found and excised a few spots in various places

Accuracy doubtful due to fusion hardware?
L5/S1 hardware new since last dexa scan. The tech did ask for an opinion from a co-worker as she felt the imaging was being distorted due to the hardware, but was told it would not impact the readings. take hrt, d3/k2 and am active! Any thoughts?
