My calcium was slightly over range and
PTH
was 7.4 just over the higher end of range(7.2) I was wondering if there’s a connection with thyroid problems and parathyroid..I have graves.

Hyperparathyroidism and Bones
It's been a long time since I've had my
PTH
level checked. I was reading that you should have ongoing annual check-ups of calcium and
PTH
levels to detect any long-term changes or recurrence of hyperparathyroidism. I feel fine and don't have the symptoms when I was diagnosed in 2014.

Low PTH
Has anyone had low
PTH
levels? My last three months levels have been low and just now stopped Calcitrol on neph recommendation. My phosphorus and calcium are both within range so I'm not sure what's causing it.

I realized that because my
PTH
was high and my calcium was high, that this was a major problem and the cause was my parathyroid function. My doctor did not diagnose this. Finally I did have "one" parathyroid surgery and feel much better and my bone density is stable (my choice) .

are CTx numbers supposed to be extremely under range while on prolia?
so i can't tell if it's been oversuppression or high turnover that's contributed to injuries in the past 1 year; and high
PTH
throughout (recent test now normal), or under prescdibed calcium and vitamin d, plus my Mum's build being prone to effects of o.p, just want her to have a chance.

Is my 7 year old son hypothyroid?
I read that low
PTH
might be because of low Magnesium, which is a consequence of low thyroid function. Endo said that she believes this could be a lab error! I cannot believe this! Please share your thought on this 🙏🙏🙏 Thank you! ❤️❤️❤️

How high is high phosphorous??
My bun,
pth
, potassium all went down and are in range. Calcium in range. Glucose in range. A1C 5.3. the only number that was bad was phosphorous which has slowly crept up to 6.4. I was taking Tums 1500mg to help, but it bound me up so bad I cut to 750.

anybody had these tests before?
COELIAC SCREEN, SPE, TSH, EGFR,
PTH
, Vit D and Serum Light Chains. I know the Serum LC is taken when testing for Multiple Myeloma as my best friends husband has bone marrow cancer.

Vitamin D and Anemia: Insights into an Emerging Association
Other factors on the bone-mineral axis, including FGF-23 and
PTH
, may have regulatory roles in iron homeostasis and erythropoiesis, and there is some evidence suggesting that the actions of FGF-23 may be independent of vitamin D [25&&].

Could MCAS a possibility?
After being diagnosed with
PTH
insufficiency and hypocalemia otherwise know as hypoPARA (non surgical) I was told to increase my calcium intake in which i realised the more cheese I ate the more my mouth burned so i was sent back into immunology.

My
PTH
was low so I need to stop the calciteol. Since my BP at dialysis on Thursday was low I stopped the second BP med and it’s better. My cholesterol has come way down too so I’m happy about that.
