I was put on
antibiotics
yesterday because I have a chest infection but forgot to ask if I should stop taking Lefludamide whilst on
antibiotics
. I just wondered if any of you have been told what to do in that situation.

Is it Gallstones?
My gallbladder was inflamed and was put on IV
antibiotics
& then sent home. I really don’t know if it’s my gallbladder or not. I have a new symptom from the last time and that’s my urine. It has no colour at all & I rarely drink water. on Google that says Kidney 😑Has anyone else experienced this?

I am reluctant to take
antibiotics
as they would kill all the good bacteria in my bowel, if I have any. I cannot take mannose for it. Does this resonate with anyone? Dr.

Preventable Corneal Abrasion
Recently I went to a recycling centre on a windy day. I usually wear eye protection glasses but had forgotten to put them in the car. Within 5 minutes some dust had blown into my 'good eye' and it was very painful. Everyone was busy shaking out bags briskly all around me. Luckily I was not driving

Eloquis/Apixaban etc - To Take or Not - That is The Question!
I have never had to take 'pill in the pocket' I did have a blockage in my leg which was disappaited by patches after a severe chect infection coupled with rejection of Doxycycline
antibiotics
which I was given three times by the hospital and each time sent the heart flying.

ER Doc further messed up my back?
On Tuesday gone by I went the ER here in Nova Scotia. During his exam, the doctor manipulated my legs up and down and had me press feet, etc. to test strength, which he said was good. My lower back has been an issue since January 2023 and a long time prior to that. Because I had lost some continence

Has anyone been able to be trained, or their carer in giving IV
antibiotics
? If so, who did you contact to arrange it? Hoping someone can shed a light on this. The NHS are so busy, it would take some of the pressure off.

My organs were failing but I'm finally out of the hospital
I was also on
antibiotics
for a previous infection. They thought I may be having a bad reaction to the antibiotic at first and the doctor gets on the phone to doctors in a bigger city to get top notch recommendations before they inquire about airlifting me to a more advanced hospital.

To cochlear implant or not to cochlear implant?
I continue to be on IV
antibiotics
through a central line, and because I have abscesses in my brain from the infection, they do not want to put me on blood thinners yet and risk a brain bleed. We have an MRI next week to see if the infection and abscesses are cleared.

SIBO and RLS
I just found out I have Small Intestine Bacteria Overgrowth (SIBO) and am on two
antibiotics
. In some research regarding SIBO, there weee some studies that states a correlation between RLS and SIBO.

Lost faith in the medical profession. Bacterial meningitis.
They called a different consultant who did an assessment and immediately put me on iv
antibiotics
and did more blood tests along with asking for further tests from the CSF from the lumbar puncture.

My kidney history
I am now 49 and I must admit they have got less but I have times when I don’t feel right and send in a sample and end up on
antibiotics
for 7 days (3 days never clears it) I do home dip sticks and often have protein in my wee and leukocytes show up. My GFR has never been above 70.
