Need to improve my health but asthma is a worry
I’d love to start running again but have asthma and joint problems.. my knees seem to go as well as my chest. Any suggestions for knee supports and how to improve my lung function when running. My asthma is controlled and I hardly have my blue inhaler unless I get a chest infection. I would love to hear

Asthma?
Hi all, My 9 year old son has had a cough for 3 or so months, it’s a dry cough and he only coughs once but happens every hour or so and sometimes more if he’s talking a lot, it doesn’t bother him at night or when he’s exercising and his chest is clear with no wheeze. I have severe asthma so at the back

Respiratory nurse home visit
I am due to have a home visit from my consultant’s respiratory nurse following a recent hospital admission and wondered if anybody has had experience of this as I have no idea what to expect. I have severe asthma and am having ongoing complications, and my asthma keeps deteriorating despite several medications

Xolair Approved!
After 2 long years of persistence and patience, along with many, many attacks, today I was finally told that I have now been granted approval to start Xolair! I was super nervous going into my appointment today after “failing” my methacholine challenge test last week. Luckily, I have an asthma specialist

Lost control of my asthma
So again tonight had another attack and called ambulance. Had several puffs of Salbutamol and the cold weather just made me so tight none of it was going in.😨 I just feel like I am stuck in a perpetual state of rubbish asthma control. I am due to see my respiratory consultant for results of allergy

Hi all, Dont know if this is the right community to post in but went for my regular 6 monthly THS rest and my GP ordered a food rast test to check for allergies. My journey to date.
I was diagnosed with OC in july 2018. My ca125 was 6800. After 3 rounds of carbo/paxl I had debulking surgery & a total colon removal in Nov 2018. I received 3 further rounds of just carbo after ,,due to severe nerve damage to fingers with paxl. If I was to continue it would have affected my ability

endo says maybe allergic to all thyroid meds?? what do I do?! any advice??
so I saw Endo number 4 late last week who (like the other 3 endos before him ) had no idea why I cant tolerate levothyroxine (any brand, including liquid), NDT or Liothyronine in anything other than the smallest quantity and, even then, I suffer side effects on the smallest dose (and I mean like 12.5
