I just tried to post pictures of a gorgeous oriole on my feeder as well as some of my flowers. Didn't happen yet... but I'll work on it. Please feel free to post any 'see the beauty' you want to share with us.

I'm on holiday at the moment and the bee eaters a migratory bird, arrives in large numbers in the spring and autumn as they make the long journey between Central and Eastern Europe and Africa. The chatter as they fly overhead is wonderful. No photo to share though.

Your environment sounds so much more desirable than ours... we are at the start of our cicadas investigation here in the states. Our neighbor had one yesterday on his tree. If you aren't familiar with them, they are gross! In the Nebraska region of the US they have a yearly migration of sandhill cranes. Supposed to be something to see...

I'm waiting... (not really) I remember their infestation here about 12 or 14 years ago. They were everywhere!
