When to take zinc, selenium supplements
I take my thyroid meds in the morning when I wake up, along with my antidepressants, my vitamin B complex tablet and my pill. I take my vitamin B12 and vitamin D with my breakfast, a couple of hours after I get up. I take my ferrous fumarate supplement before going to bed, along with 1000mg vitamin C

Advice please
I've been getting this weird sensation in my neck, along with the feeling of a lump in my throat it feels like the right side of my neck is swollen but it isn't when I look at it, I can also see what looks like a pulse bumping about an inch below the right ear. Should I see a doctor asap about this or

Zinc...chelated, gluconate or sulfate.
My zinc result is 10.0umol/L (11.0 - 24.0) I have looked at previous posts but none seem to mention chelated zinc which I always believed to be the best. What do others take and how much?

Recommendations for Gloucestershire based GPs
I have recently done a test for Pyroluria and it came back as strongly positive. This explains my problems with B12, low stomach acid, hypothyroid issues and many more issues. Before I can start treatment (B6, Zinc and a few other nutrients), I need to take some more tests and gets some advice tailored

Stomach Acid, B12 and Thyroid
Polaris posted an interesting link the other day which is getting missed. The article concerned was discussing stomach acid, b vitamins and thyroid. It was also discussing how PPIs block stomach acid production. Let's take this one step further - I don't produce stomach acid, I have low stomach acid

Test results not very illumunating
I got my blood test rsluts back from the Drs today, but the test has only given the TSH which is not at all helpful ( last time I asked for results they gave me the cortisol, T4 and serum free levels at least...). Pfft. But amongst all the tests it also said that my Serum Alkaline Phosphate level was

Blood tests
Despite the explanation, I am still confused, maybe because the person who read my test results did not know I have a diagnosis and am on levo? I do feel quite upset as was expecting a poor T3 result as feel dreadful, tiredness bordering on exhaustion, dry skin, puffyness, poor hair, eyebrow loss etc

Weight gain-need help :-(
I have had a massive wake-up call today and am really feeling down and at the end of my tether :-( I desperately need to lose weight but have read so much conflicting stuff: don't reduce calories too much, don't exercise too much etc so... I am stumped! Last month's Slimming World magazine featured

It's one of the side effects of the antibiotic I'm taking...don't actually have a black
