Cyberknife is in my future
Since January I've also been on Enzalutmide/
Xtandi
as PSA was rising with Zoladex alone, so was declared castration resistant. The
Xtandi
has managed to keep my PSA in check (it's currently 0.67 and stable) but I have a lot of cancer in the prostate which is causing issues.

zytigia or Xtandi with Prednisone and insulin resistance?
Anyone experience glucose/insulin control problems when undergoing these second line ADT treatments? Wondering about this as it seems it would be a negative for insulin stimulated cancer growth?

A history of PSA readings, how accurate are they?
(PSMA PET Gallium scans showed bone metastasis in shoulders and lower back pre Lutetium treatment as well) From JULY 2018 PSA starting to rise again to 51 then started on Enzalutamide or
Xtandi
for 3 months to see if this would halt the rise .

taxotere may be last thing left
CR to zytiga and
xtandi
. PSA went from 3 to 290 in last 4 months. Had 4 bone mets and 22 rounds of radiation that just ended last week. In two weeks I start taxotere. Does anyone know what I can expect from the taxotere? Chances of working?

Has any one experienced low blood sugar after being on Enzalutamide\

Stopped zytiga and started
xtandi
and after a few months realized it wasn't working. Oncololigist basically gave up because I didn't want to do chemo infusion, have a terrible fear of nausea and past history of chemo with family members.

My journey with Stage 4 Mets PSA continues
After zytiga failed tried
Xtandi
and it too failed, PSA continued to climb. After the first chemo treatment with taxotere , my MO said to expect a spike by the time the next treatment was due in 3 weeks. It did spike to 137 and today I am happy to report that the PSA dropped to 117.

Psa down on no intervention
We are awaiting trial approval for
Xtandi
and my dad’s psa went down from 12 to 5. He’s been off of Zytiga for a month. Is this unusual? Labs are good. No new spots. Two very small spots on lung that they don’t believe has anything to do with prostate cancer.

I am a newbie on this site...
The course of treatment currently being discussed is Provenge immunotherapy more than likely followed by
Xtandi
or Zytiga. The fact that the cancer had metastasized kind of took the wind out of my sails.

Zytiga failed, starting Xtandi. What to expect for my dad.
We got the news that Zytiga is failing and my dad is going to be switched to
Xtandi
. My dad has been feeling amazing and I’m so scared that the
Xtandi
wll change that. He was diagnosed with Stage IV, bone mets everywhere, Gleason 10, PSA 64 in November 2017.

Plan of attack after Chemo
Forum says a restart of
XTANDI
may be possible. 5. Somebody in the forum suggested some anti cancer vitamins but I may not have much time to try this before I have to go back to traditional treatments. Dont know what other treatments are out there so I hope the Forum may have some ideas.

Zytiga over Xtandi
As I understand Zytiga and
Xtandi
have similar efficacy. However, side effects for
Xtandi
seem less severe. I notice lots of people on Zytiga but not
Xtandi
. Does anyone know why Zytiga seems to be prescribed more?
