Trial with new exercise method.
With injections of 1mg of both hydroxocabalamin and methyelcobalamin with 6mg of Adenocabalamin 4 times a day along with my oral supplements I was able to walk 5K four Saturdays in a row. I walked slow and had to stop on some of the hills of New Hampshire USA. Each time I was stopping less not reasonably

Looking for clarity on the best type of injectable B12 please
Information seems to be a bit muddled. I’m looking for the most natural and bioavailable please From what I read, cyanocobalamin
isn’t
the way to go but there again I’m not sure whether that’s in reference to oral supplementation Does anyone have any links or reliable information

Can thyroid tap or pulse?
Hi, I have been having a number of issues which I thought were low thyroid related, or B12 deficient, both bloods currently look fine thought, apart from my thyroid peroxidase antibodies which have risen from 468KIUL to 502KIUL (range 0-34). What I would like to know is, can thyroid tap or pulse? I

Can B12 levels fluctuate?
Hi, Can B12 levels fluctuate? I have been having a number of B12 related symptoms, took supplements and felt better. I stopped supplements on the 18th June & had 4 months clear of fortified cereal & so on to check if I have a deficiency. I did an active finger prick test & my level on the 14 September

B12 made symptoms go away
Hi. I had ME/CFS and it seemed to clear up 16 years later. About 3 years ago, I had fatigue, myclonic jerks especially while sleeping which woke me up and tremor feeling inside me. I took B12 sublingual for 2 or 3 weeks and the symptoms subsided. But then I stopped taking the B12 supplements and I have

Getting there, but slowly
More blood tests back now but still don't have all the figures. Serum immunoglobulins all normal Coeliac screen - negative Ferritin 197 (range 13-150) Transferrin saturation 38% (15-45) He's not happy about this even though it's "normal" Homocysteine - normal IFA - still negative Gastric parietal antibodies

Functional B12 deficiency
Hi, I have been around a long time and read every day. I have a hard time understanding what a functional deficiency mean. In my case just a few injections brought my MMA and homocysteine down very quickly. Is that a functional deficiency? Seems like I would understand this by now. I have never

bronchiectisis
hi all , I’m just after a bit of advice . I was diagnosed with this in 2018 - had loads of tests and also have mild asthma . I’m not on any meds only pump when needed which isn’t very often I find it burns and doesn’t really help at all , as I can bring the mucus up on my own . I used it yesterday

Methylcobalamin vs Hydroxocobalamin ?
Does anyone else find they do better on methylcobalamin than hydroxocobalamin? I've done some major googling but not been able to find out much and would like to ask if anyone has had the same experience as me? I started SI for years with Methylcobalamin and was doing great. When stocks became impossible

Very high B12 Serum Level after Deficiency Treatment
Hello everyone, I was diagnosed with
Vitamin
B12
deficiency (diet related). Blood level was detected at <148pg/ml and was treated with 6 Hydroxocobalamin injections with the last one a week ago. I am feeling even more fatigued since the injections completed, with recurring leg and back pain.

NICE guidelines
Just had someone at my surgery call to say I haven’t had b12 for years (needless to say untrue) and so cannot receive my usual injection. I have explained that you don’t test B12 while receiving B12 and that the guidelines should be read. I mentioned that the new guidelines are due and should be read

Prolonged Fasting to reduce prostate cancer and vitamin B12's effect on raising PSA.
My PSA had held steady at 4 for many years prior but when Covid struck I stopped exercising and gained 40 lbs. It was at this point that my PSA jumped to 5.1 then 7 and I got a 3t MRI and subsequent 16 core targeted biopsy. I was diagnosed with prostate cancer (Group 3, Unfavorable Intermediate Risk

Doctor has asked to see me.......
I have been SI'ing for 6½ years now. I get some B12 on prescription, but just one a month. I buy the rest myself, and SI every 3 days. I put in my prescription last week and got a call today from the nurse. She said the doctor wants to see me to, and I quote, 'make sure I am doing it right'. I feel like

B12 self injection
So we ordered some panpharma b12 injections which arrived yesterday. My partner has a b12 level of 123 with neurological symtoms and gp refuses to treat. I just got my results from my b12 test result last week a level of 202 which gp said was normal. Maybe this was abit stupid but as I have symptoms
