Need for colonoscopy when taking Eliquis (I don't advise reading this while having breakfast)
Hi folks I've been on Eliquis since May. I haven't noticed any side effects , no bruising or extra bleeding . I was told to go to our GP for a general check on stools. It's really a check for colon cancer and other problems. Anyway it showed presence of blood. Our GP told me that this is probably related

Pulsed Field Ablation
has anyone had the Pulsed Field ablation? i'm on the list with Dr. Natale. Looking for more information directly from someone who's had it or is more in the loop vs wikipedia. It a long way to travel if not substantially better than RF 72 with persistent asymptomatic Afib on no meds but Eliquis

My first cardioversion. Couple of questions. Thanks.
Oct 10 having a cardioversion for Atrial Flutter. Its been bothering me for about 2 years. Fairly well controlled with • DilTIAZem (Eqv-Tiazac) 180 mg/24 hours oral capsule, extended release but still feel extremely fatigued sometimes so I am finally going to take the cardiologists recommendation.

hair loss
I am a 66 year old male bald but with very thick hair around sides since going through afib med load I’ve noticed my hair that’s left is majorly thinning and my scalp is sore and itchy! I take dofetilide and Eliquis twice a day - also just had ablation

Just prescribed Meloxicam by my GP for joint pain and headaches.
I take Eliquis and Amiodarone for my Afib and was wondering if anyone on here has taken Meloxicam while being treated for Afib. I've read a lot of conflicting feedback concerning the success/drawbacks of NSAIDs for people currently on an Afib regimen. Thanks for reading.

can she stop eliquis or wean off?
good news! Mom's test results came back great once again! Doctor says she only seems to get AFib when she got sick.. first time caused by pseudoephedrine in the sinus medicine and second time AFib from infected bug bite. He said that her test results are very reassuring and he believes she can stop

I had my cryo ablation at the end of June and have had a hard time still with afib almost everyday… well it finally slowed down to once a week ish but now when I get afib (according to Apple Watch) my heart rate doesn’t go very high. Any experience with taking Ibrutinib with Eliquis?
I'm taking Eliquis because of blood clots and Losartan for high BP. Tomorrow I'm scheduled to start 420 mg Ibrutinib. I'm concerned about possible interactions of these 3 drugs. Has anyone taken these 3 and had any side effects as a result? Thanks.

Watchman Implant
Has anyone had experience with the Watchman implant? My Dr suggested it, as they can’t take me off Eliquis after my (successful ) ablation because my Chad score is too high.

One year and 3 day anniversary
It has been over a year since my last AF episode. I still get a few ectopics here or there, but overall the heart is working well. My first episode was when I was 48 years old and spent 3 days in hospital until heart sorted itself out. 9 months later another episode that lasted about 6 hours(took

please help. Severe anxiety ELIQUIS
Hi.. I was on here a few days ago but didn't get too much what's going on. I am not the patient- my mom is. She is quite healthy and has only had two episodes of AFib and each time was during anxiety with sinus infection and another time with anxiety and bug bite infection. The first time they blamed

Older female, need thoughts on ablation decision
ok, here goes…I have had diagnosed afib and Aflutter since 2017. Had a pacemaker installed Jan 2020. also have well controlled colitis. No other major issues. Never overweight, never smoked, drink wine modestly with dinner, however I am a small older woman. (82 this month🙏)I am active. Still play golf

rapid weight gain
anyone else have rapid weight gain on metoprolol or Eliquis? I have been on medication for 6 months and have gained 15 lbs. so far. I exercise regularly (run, spin, elliptical rower etc) talking 4/5 days a week… I am still rapidly gaining. I don’t eat poorly or any excess sweets. I’m very frustrated

Mexican Eliquis
I frequently have gotten prescriptions from Algodones, Mexico because they are so much cheaper. I am now on Eliquis and can get it there also, but I’m a little hesitant because that is a life preserving drug. Has anyone used Eliquis or something similar from Mexico? Any comments on the efficacy of it
