Followed advice here, now need help with understanding results
The surgeon put me on 50 mcg of Synthroid and from there my pcp checked only my
TSH
and T4 until I started learning more because I’ve felt so poorly over the years and my pcp chalked it up to fibromyalgia and CFS because I had a traumatic brain injury in 2008.

Endo claims that due to
tsh
being suppressed (thyca) that I have enough active hormone for my body, despite me saying otherwise (pre TT was between 18-22 consistently for years) he says the pituitary works fine.

Overactive again, but why? What to do?
After that my
TSH
was <0.01 on two occasions, but FT3 and FT4 within normal range. On 5 Aug 2022: TRab: <1.5 (equivocal but nearer positive than negative) In Nov 2022
TSH
was 1.83, and FT3 and FT4 within normal range. In Feb 2023
TSH
was 2.8. FT3 and FT4 not tested.

FT3 often higher than FT4; are my symptoms even hypo?
(125mcg):
TSH
2.72 (0.4-4.0) FT4 11.8 (9-19) 28% FT3 4.52 (2.4-6) 58.89% And in September(125mcg):
TSH
1.56 (0.4-4.0) FT4 13.4 (9-19) 44% FT3 4.17 (2.4-6) 49.19% Now, my question is, why is my FT3 so much higher in the range than FT4?

I had a partial thyroid removal in March 2023 my thyroid test results in April were
TSH
2.25 mU/L T4 13.3 pmol/L Do these results look ok. I have not been put on any medication since the surgery but have begun to feel unwell and am considering getting more bloods done?

Vitamins D and K7
I am in the process of arranging private blood tests after very helpful advice from members on this site, as my recent annual blood tests showed my
TSH
had risen to 2.69, from 1.5 last September. GP feels this within range, so unwilling to review my dosage of levo !

Post-private GP update
So, in 8 weeks I’ll repeat my blood tests and go back to see what’s happening with the
TSH
levels, T4 & T3 (I’ll redo the full panel as I want to see what’s changed on the vitamin front too), and go from there.

Oct 2023 report says that to avoid heart problems in later life keep TSH and Free T4 at these levels; please advise if this is correct?
The findings from checking patient records is that the lowest risk of heart disease in elderly people is when they have:
Free T4 between 13.5 -14.8 pmol/L
between 1.9 - 2.9 mIU/L
Can anyone better versed in interpreting medical language please assist as this is as far as

how long does it take for t4 to come down after reducing dose?
Over the last couple of weeks or so I have been ever so slightly increasing my dose as my
TSH
was going over (under active) and having low stomach acid and achey muscles etc. however my t4 was already too high and this has made it go even higher and I have felt really poorly as it has and is affecting

Thyroid hormone and cortisol!
Then he States higher cortisol/effects reduce
TSH
and T4 to T3 conversion. All of this is mind-boggling I will continue to study but if anybody has a word I'd like to say that's cool with me. Thank you for being here for me I appreciate everyone on this site.
