But due to angerness my psychiatrist started Divalproex Sodium solution and Risperidone +

Trihexyphenidyl
Hello all, I've been prescribes
Trihexyphenidyl
and I'm worried about the repercussions, my consultant said shouldn’t affect me as I’m young but it has links with memory problems and dementia, something I know Parkinson’s is already increases the risk of.

Request for Information
Request for Information Hi from the UK, I take
trihexyphenidyl
(2 mg 2 x day) I want to take Citicoline but I’m sure I read somewhere that the two are not compatible as one stops the other from working. I’d be very glad if anyone has any experience of this.

Advice
There are several anticholinergic drugs available for people with Parkinson disease, including
trihexyphenidyl
, benztropine, orphenadrine, procyclidine, and biperiden. These medications are believed to be equally effective. Anyone using these above with no other medications for PD?

Tremor medication
My neurologist prescribed me
trihexyphenidyl
hcl but that is not working either. I am waiting for movement disorder specialist appointment over a year. I work in software development. So tremors sometimes impact my ability to type.

Exercise and PD
He gave me
trihexyphenidyl
hcl. Never heard of it before. Is it good for tremors? I asked neurologist about exercise, and he said exercise is useless for PD and has no impact. I was disappointed and de motivated to hear that. I read online that exercise should be good for PD.

Trihexyphenidyl medication for PD
Hello, my husband with tremor dominant PD has been prescribed Trihexyphenidly (aka Artane, Trihexane and Tritane) by his neurologists to try and reduce his tremors. He is currently on Madopar and its not really helping. Does anyone have any experience with this drug? Many thanks.

Artane
I was on Artane [
Trihexyphenidyl
] for stiffness and within 2 weeks of taking it I had severe hallucinations , I thought the doctor would of decreased my dosage , but she increased it. I really wish I did not do that. It was a mistake and it took some time to get over it.

Medication for Dystonia - what drug improves your dystonia symptoms?
I have so far only tried
Trihexyphenidyl
( max dose 18mg/day ). I ended up with excellent night sleep, but also with blurry near vision (which means it did work to relax eye muscles) , tinnitus, and weird panic attacks. And most importantly - no real difference to dystonic spasms. Thank you
